Una experiencia. Solidez en paladar excelente, con un toque carbónico interesante que no se aprecia realmente en el vaso. El aroma a caramelo se aprecia mejor pensando en que hay flor de jazmín en la receta, pero sino, se queda corto en relación al ensamble. La levadura de champaña se encuentra después de medio vaso más fácilmente que al principio. El volumen de alcohol es sutil, y el retrogusto no se ve afectado. Una experiencia si, incluso en un paquete de alto diseño que refleja la visión integral del producto.

Smells like candy. Black, _no_ head. Oily, nutty, viscous. Very high alcohol flavour.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff, feb-12: Kullsort. En helt særegen og sterk aroma som bringer tankene hen mot gamle båter: tjære og sjø, salt lakris og mørke sjokolader. Ulike sødmer dominerer i smaken og den store munnfylden. Denne må jeg prøve å få tak i for langtidslagring. 17,2%!

Bottle at bar. Black color, almost no head. Strong complex taste with jasmin, chocolate, coffee, roastiness, alcohol, nuts. Roasty, chocolate finish. Extreme, great brew.

This beer is marked by the incredible levels of sweetness achieved. Coffee and chocolate predominate at the effect is quite something. Masks the booze well. While excellent, I can’t help but feel that the individual beers are better flavour and value. Epic beer non-the-less!

Aroma coffee, alcohol, choco, caramel, toffee, roasty malts, dark fruits, a lot is going on.
Taste sweet, a lot of sweet, in the finish there is a nice bitter.
Mouth-feel oily, dry.
Absolutely amazing beer. Loving it.

Bottle... Pours new-moon black with no head. The aroma is an intense, fiery swirl of fudge, chocolate crème, espresso & ethanol. Full-bodied and oily with soft carbonation. The intense, sweet flavor is constructed with espresso, light molasses and dark chocolate mocha. Finishes nourishing, bittersweet and boozy. A little rough around the edges, but otherwise quite nice. Bottle. Black pour with no head. Licorice nose. Big cola, caramel, and fudge notes. Uber sweet with a medium body. Is this really 17%?? WTF?? These fuckin’ plaid kilt wearing bastards are absolute lunatics. NUFF SAID...

Shared bottle at Grünerløkka mat- og mikrobryggfestival. Pours pitch black with a minimal beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate, fruits and coffee. Pretty intense aromas, but well balanced. Alcohol is noticable, but pretty well integrated. Full body. Very chocolaty and quite sweet with a slightly dry and bitter finish. Delicious Imperial Stout! Intense aromas of chocolate , some dried fruit, mild coffee & some licorice .
Full body & high complexity.
Some sweetness, ok bitterness - good balance.
Very enjoyable
