Bottled@SBWF2011. Pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is sweet imperial stout like. Flavour is rather much the same. I don’t even know what to say, you could take any of the beers in the blend, and it would give you quite much the same feeling. Good, but why bother blending these...

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2012
Courtesy of Jens (Ungstrup) Absolute black color; the carbonation seems low, but produces a generous brown head, reucing to a thin layer. The aroma is nice but not impressive, with cardboard, roasted malt, coffee, some tobacco and leather; mild; mainly off-putting because of the cardboard. But the flavor is fantastic; the sweetness is immediately perceived, providing a canvas for the plots of the chocolate, roasted malt, tobacco, light liquorice; it has a correct bitterness level; the alcohol is warming the mouth, but not warning the mind, as its perception is relatively hidden. Great.
