A strong ale, brewed with guarana, Californian poppy, kola nut and Scottish heather honey. A conspiracy of trans-continental ingredients infused with some devastatingly BrewDog imaginative thinking.

Bottle. Pours amber with a small white head. This is definetely a spice herb vegetable beer. Loads of spice, nuts , heather, honeysuckle and malt. Taste is sweet honeysuckle with a peppery finish and woody unusual fruits. Very different but pleasant to drink as flavours blend relatively well.

(Bottle) Pours amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with tones of nuts, toffee, caramel, nectar, flowers, honey and some fresh vegetal hints. Grapefruity, spicy/herbal and woody hops. Hints of earth, berries and fruits. The flavour is medium hoppy and medium malty with tones of herbs, wood, some citrus, flowers and caramel. The finish is light peppery and bitter with hints of honey and fruits. Bitterness lingers. The mouthfeel is clean and light syrupy with a soft carbonation. Medium bodied.

[ Batch #101 ]. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy - peppery, heater honey sweetness notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration and a peppery spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (020808)

330ml bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Shared with Skinnyviking. Amber-copper body topped by a thin, off-white head. Nice laceworks. Hop-oily aroma. Flavoured with late, dark fruits with spicy notes. Rounded bitterness on a high level. Medium to full bodied (10.09.2008).

Bottle. Amber copper with no head. Aromas are woody, floral and spicy with grapefruit and sweet, earthy hops. Flavours are very sweet honey and toffee with lots of floral aspects. Resinous grapefruit with a prickly sensation at the back of the throat. Another good experimental brew.

Clear amber of color with a weak offwhite head. An aroma with notes spice, wood, herbs and barn. A flavor with notes of spice, wood, herbs and dry in mouth.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear amber, small head. Woody nose with grapefruit, alcohol and extery fruitiness. Sweetish with medium to full body. Fruity peppery finish.

Bottle, 7.8%. Good caramelly aroma. Clear copper colour. The flavour is caramelly and spicy. I cannot pinpoint the spice but I do not recognize any of the ones mentioned on the label. Rough hoppiness.

Bottle. Amber colour with a short bubbly head. Very spicy aroma with malts and hops. Medium bodied. Flavour is rather bitter with pepper and some odd spices I cant recognize. Very special beer but pleasant.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to orange with a bubbly white head. Dense pinewood hops aroma. Smooth hoopy and only slight malty base flavour. Quite spice and complex. Medium to lighter bodied. Lingering dry and slight oily hoppy finish.
