A strong ale, brewed with guarana, Californian poppy, kola nut and Scottish heather honey. A conspiracy of trans-continental ingredients infused with some devastatingly BrewDog imaginative thinking.

Aroma is slightly buttholeish, floral, sweet, not very hoppy. A lot more honey in the aroma now as it warms, I think that is the heather honey, the butthole aroma I couldn’t identify at first. Wow, that’s totally it. Lots of honey in this guy. Appearance is golden, bubbly, with scant head. Taste is hoppy, strangely spicy, sweet, yeasty. Finish lingers in the bitterness, sweet and floral with more strangeness. Really odd, but works well. Thanks, Magic_dave6

Botella. Nice golden copper colour with a short lasting off-white ehad elaving a good lacing. Nice aroma of spices, pine, hops and heather. Good mouthfeel. Soft spiced heather hoppy aroma with caramel and a little alcohol. Tasty brew indeed.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2008 Bottle(s) thanks to martin! Pale and richer malts, fruity and somewhere between floural and spice. Brewdog grassy yeasty character. Amarillo hop is key, the other unusual flavours are pritty subtle. Alc is hidden and its quite drinkable. RERATE: Like alot of the brewdog beers its developed with age in the bottle. Its really tasty, spicey, hoppy, balanced yet has a nice sweetness too it(probably from the spice) and its dangerously drinkable. No wonder i just bought 3 more online!

Bottle, bought @ Plan B, Cph.
Pours a wonderful, deep copper with a small, creamy, off-white head. Disappears rather quickly. Aroma is extremely nice, lots of dryness, pine, grass, hay, honey, heather and a dose of cocoa and vanilla. Great, dry mouthfeel. Good spicy flavour, light pine, no alcohol noticeable, dry, heather, honey - and in the long aftertaste some cocoa shows up. Nice!

Bottle. Clear amber coloured with a small fast disappearing white head. Fruity aroma of caramel and hops with notes of grape fruits and grass. Fruity flavour of berries, hops, caramel and pine needles with notes of grass. Hoppy finish. Nice.

Bottle. Medium high fluffy off-white lasting head. Clear amber golden body. Sweet roasted barley malt aroma with caramel and notes of honey. A somewhat sharp hops bitterness dominates the flavor which also has caramel and honey notes. Long bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation.

Cask @ Bodega Newcastle 21/8/8 Copper coloured beer with thin white head, nose is sweet fruit and caramel with a spicy hop note. Taste is honey sweet at first giving way to warming pepper and herbal hops. I could see this working well during the colder months.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2010 Bottled. A mid amber coloured beer with some fruit and spice on the nose. Very ordinary in the mouth with fruit, toffee and bready malts. Didn’t get any of the crazy listed ingredients. Stick to hops and barley guys.Score 3.0
