COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
bottle and keg,series special
Imperial Stout aged in American Bourbon Barrels for 12 months. A schizophrenic translatlantic son of a bitch of a beer. Huge, decadent imperial stout clashes in the most beautiful way with the best incarnation of the American Dream since Nixon choked on a cheeseburger. We think this might just be the best Paradox ever. Available in both keg and bottle.

Case (293) - GERMANY - FEB 6, 2015
Bottle in fancy carton. Pours pitch black with small dark-brown head. Aroma is full of dark fruit, plums, dark grapes, molasses, caramel. Taste is lots of coffee, red wine, dark chocolate, bit of that fruity cognac touch. Loads of vanilla and wood. Huge alcohol kick right from the first sip. Full bodied with a big spicy bite and good carbonation. This is a big bruiser of a beer. Sip and enjoy the complexity.

Pitch black beer with a dark creamy head. Aroma of bourbon, whiskey, vanilla, chocolate, dark dried fruits and some vinous smells and cacao. Rich taste of dark chocolate, burnt sugar with some rum and whiskey. Round, smooth notes of vanilla and rum with a more "stingy" after-taste of alcohol. Dark dried fruits. Full body. Soy.

Deep brown to black, brown foam. Aroma is awesome - sweet vanilla, noble alcohol(ok cause its 15% abv!), light woody notes + trace of chocolate. Well-rounded full body, vanilla, wood, trace of wine in flavor + coffee, chocolate and licorice. Warming elegant lcohol making it bit liquorish. Very good stout.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2015 At the 1st tasting of 2015 in Belgrade-Serbia. Shared by Vlada at the Birreville shop, huge thanks mate. Pours black with a small gassy short-lasting golden/brown head. Nose: amazing! Macerated cherries, prunes, whiskey and cognac. Mouth: complexity of dozens of notes, all of them perfectly balanced. Molasses, prunes, cherries, wood. Alcohol. Great one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
