4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle at home. Pours a pretty black colour with a medium brown head. Could a beer look better? Both aroma and flavour is extraordinary, and is filled with dried fruits, coffee, barbecue sauce, dark chocolate, chocolate truffles and hints of smoke. Wonderful! Has a rich and soft mouth feel, and a light bitterness. Simply a fantastic beer if you love dark and smokey stuff.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 0,33l. Pours thick black with tiny brown head. Aroma is oak upfront, sweet whiskey notes, with hints of peat, smokiness. Taste starts with salmiakk, caramel sweetness which is followed by massive pairing of oak and alcohol whiskey notes. These woody notes stick to the tongue and last quite long. Delicious stout, but too much sweetness and wood for my personal taste.

Black body, tall brown head, thick.

Massive taste of roast malt, some smoked malt, coffee, whisky, hoppy too. Highly carbonated.
Good "drinkability" for its strength.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Black pour, instantly dissipating tan head. Aroma of vanille, leather, toffee, cream, bourbon, ash, tobacco, chocolate and very very rich. Flavor is warming alcohol, bitter roasty, sweet vanilla oak, chocolate, very smooth and warming. Lovely. Bit low on the carbonation though.

Bottle, 33cl - Black brown beer with a small head. Aroma is malty with notes of vanilla, wood, peat and licorice. Flavor is malty with sweet notes of licorice, smoked malt, vanilla ice cream, chocolate and cookie dough. Amazing, but perhaps slightly too strong.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. Svart. Alkoholen skremmende godt kamuflert.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black beer with a small amount of beige head. Aroma consists of lots of malt, roasted notes, caramel, wood and whisky. Flavour is a bit too much on the sweet side. It’s also roasted, wooden and whisky-like.I liked Smokehead and Arran Malt better.
