På flaska @ Cindirella. Helt svart färg. Luktar kaffe.Smakar fruktigt sött som rundas av med en stark smak av kaffesom sitter kvar i gommen länge,

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2014 Flaska@Cinderella. Svartbrun vätska med lågt kaffefärgat skum. Intensiv doft av kaffe, choklad och syltiga bär. Mer intensiv smak av samma varor. En bra stout.

Very nice. Marshmallowy aroma with a sweet, smooth flavor with just a hint of heat.

330ml bottle. Pitch black body with a low mocca coloured head. Nice concept but this one is way too sweet.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 AROMA: complex, whiskey, notes of smoke, roasty; APPEARANCE: black, opaque, noticeable suspension, unspectacular head, no lacing; TASTE: quite a lot of whiskey, roasty, smoky, heavy sweetness (tiring after some time), light bitter, heavy note of alcohol; PALATE: full body, sticky texture, little carbonation, alcohol-based warming, short mainly sweet finish; OVERALL: doesn’t meat my expectations; too much whiskey, too weak bitterness counter, but it remains an interesting beer.

Bottle. Pours black, with a finger thick reddish head. Aroma is burned malts, coffee and tobacco. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is burned malts, muscovado, tobacco and liquorice, with a lingering sweetly finish.

Botella de 33 cl en el lúpulo. Lote 447.

Bottle, at home. Bottle has been in my fridge for a couple of years I think. The best-before date is difficult to read, but looks like 13-12-16. The beer pours a very black one, with a nice light brown head which dissolves into a fractal pattern of small bubbles. Aromawise we’ve got a lot. It’s difficult to describe. Chocolate, sweet red fruits, coffee, sweet malts, wood. Thick mouthfeel, very low carbonation. Somewhat sweet, but not horribly. Flavor is liquorice, wood, vanilla, coffee grains, leather, chocolate, notes of dark fruits (prunes, raisins, cherries), nuts, a touch of alcohol. The 15% abv is very well hidden behind all the flavor. Something to sip for a long time!
