COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottled;
A trashy blonde concession for those who mouthed the words (in a deliberate manner) on the Punk IPA label, then spat the beer out. For you crazy rock n roll peeps who thought the extra 2% would make you loose the Harry Plotter entirely. Dry-Hopped which mean we add hops after the fermentation to give the beer a real aromatic zesty aroma and a depth of flavour and body which bellies its ABV. Fluorescent in colour, this beer might even make you glow in the dark. Zeitgeist in a bottle.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, May 2008. Orange gold. Bitter hoppy rather than aromatic. Lots of lemon in the flavour. I thought the balance was a bit off-kilter. As harrisoni said, a touch (too) astringent. Not one of Brewdog’s finest.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy hoppy, grape. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (010508)

Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Gold with thin white head. Does have some nice US hops. Bit of stewed fruit. Bit astringent, but drinkable and rather nice.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Pale gold with a good white head. Decent hoops, lots of rubber and earth. Very soapy in the flavour. More rubber. Far from the best BrewDog.

Cask, Loughborough Fest 08. Bright gold with a small head. Aromas are grapefruit and very bitter green hops. Some lemon and apricot. Flavours are lemon and pine with associated bitterness. Woody and dry with a long aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2008 Cask, Covfest ’08. Gold and faintly misty. Distantly leafy snout. Assertive grapefruity hopping, Earl Grey with clinging dunked biscuit afters. Quite tasty, but one-dimensional.

Cask, gravity dispense, at 5th Globe Beer Festival, Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Hazy straw colour, white head. Hoppy aroma and sweet vinous taste. Bitter finish. Yep, trashy and enjoyable.
