Bottle at home 20/5 2013. Opaque orange, with a big white head. Hoppy aroma, with some grapefruit, citrus, grass and some sweetness. A clear hoppy taste, that lingers. At the price it is amazing.

Blonde dorée légèrement trouble, quasi-asence de pétillance, mousse presque inexistante. Bien houblonnée et épicée, caramélisée, arrière-goût fruité, un rien de douceur, petite sécheresse sur la fin. Première IPA pour moi, merci au boss du Malting Pot de me l’avoir fait découvir.

Clear orange. Aroma: Citrus, grapefruit, caramel and grass. Taste: Bready, earthy, grapefruit, pomegranate, caramel and toast. Smooth palate, dry bitter finish. This is a solid and easily available IPA. Sessionable and inexpensive. Classic.

Clear amber - big white head. Fruity, nice hoppy nose, bitterness, zesty, medium malty, dryness, citrus, abricot, grassy, piney, grape fruits.

5.6% 330ml bottle into a tumbler. Pours a clear golden colour with light carbonation and a quickly dissipating head. Floral notes and citrus aroma after the pour with the suggestion of a hoppy punch forthcoming. Doesn’t deliver the kind of hoppiness I was anticipating; more light and crisp with a bit of a bitter back end. Quite pleasant!

Clear orange color with small and quickly dissappearing head. Powerful aroma of bunch of citrus: passionfruit, mango and grapefruit. Incredible! Taste is also citrus and completed by malty sweetness perfectly balanced strong bitterness. Finish is long and really bitter. Fantastic example of IPA.

Beautiful citrus and mango aroma. Quickly dissapearing head. Clear golden body. Great, strong, hoppy citrus taste, very well balanced with malt sweetness. Simply wonderfull.

De chez brewdog je préfére largement la 5am, celle-ci sympa au nez mais on en retrouve moins en bouche

Bottle at home. Bought in ’Geers’ Oostakker that day, so I suppose it was the 5,6% edition. Since the 6% edition is retired.
Appearance: clear blonde beer, small white stable head.
Nose: spices, apples, grapefruit, florar, amazing IPA nose, some mango.
Taste: a rather uni dimensional taste, bitterness is nice and long lasting, but I preferred the scent of this IPA. Very dry when drinking.

Draught Very thick, dense, off-white to yellow head over orange-shot golden beer, collar hardly diminishing. Exotic fruit, lunaria, grapes and grapefruit, blocked a bit by the thick head; bit of solvent. Bitter, and mildly fruity flavours. Grapes, nashua pear, pitaya especially. Surprising secundary flavour, dominated by fresh pale malts. Hops arriving in the finish. Very spritzy, light body, slighly slick. Not necessarily better than bottled, but interesting.
