Ins Glas ergieŖt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, fruchtig herb. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig bitter nach exotischen FrŁchten.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
11.2 oz bottle into a tulip.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. Thereís a one finger white-colored head, but it has poor retention. Lacing is decent enough, though.
S: Iím not sure how fresh this is (because IPA from Scotland), but it still has a decent hop profile to it. Not an amazing one, though I can forgive that. Itís loaded with pine, grapefruit, and *maybe* some apricot. The malt backbone comes through quite strongly, loaded with caramel and toffee. Not bad.
T: I pick up some Nelson Sauvin-esque fruitness, especially on the opening. Itís weird, actually - itís a combination of grape-y-ness and mint. The more I sip it, the more the mint comes through. And the more I sip it, the more the mint ruins the balance of everything. I even dare suggest itís medicinal. While the general flavor isnít very good, itís not an undrinkable mess. Thatís great, I suppose...
M: Itís pretty light on the palate, which is good. In spite of its age, itís also pretty dry - and thatís also good too, I donít want this mint bomb to linger on my palate any further. Carbonation is about medium.
O: This would be a lot better if it were fresh. Seeing as Iím a íMerican whoís not in Scotland and donít have access to this AFAP (as fresh as possible), I have to grade it as is, which means I canít give it a good score. Come to think about it, is it really worth buying foreign IPAs? Theyíre always going to be more expensive, and likely wonít be fresh, either.

This was alright. I may have just had a really old one. This was not a standout IPA for me.

Good easy to drink IPA. Very easy to drink, can be my everyday IPA. One can feel the hops softly, good to start the evening with it.

There is intention in the hops, but itís not a roller coaster of a ride. Itís just a competent beer that shouldnít frighten anyone away.

330 ml bottle shared with Calm_Dreamer. Golden color with a thin white head. Aromas of flowers, grass, some fruits and maybe some sweetness. Like siting in a freshly cut meadow!! Excellent taste, really bitter, grass, pine flowers, some fruits. Bitter aftertaste, long ang dry. Light to medium body with low to medium carbonation. Excellent!!!!
