Bottle from a local bottle shop called Cheers In. Nice fruity aroma with some cloudiness. The taste is fairly balanced for an IPA but it’s still a nice beer to enjoy. More along the lines of APA. Well done and reasonably priced for imported craft beer in Shanghai.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wonderfull beer. Complex aroma to me, but sweet malt with noble hoppy-dark fruitfulness, sugary is in vanguard, a bit oaky. Pours pale golden with white top, lasting enough. Taste is pleasantly sweet start with hoppy bitter afterpath, not dry. Medium to full bodied with creamy texture - this one is really difficult in flavor and very, very enjoyable. Smooth one.

Pour is amber with fizzy off-white head. Aroma is flowery, citrus, straw and toffee malt. Taste is herbal, citrus, dust, sweet fruitiness with dusty hops.
Medium body, medium carbonation,Texture is oily. Ends almost chalky and dry.

660ml bottle. Pours cloudy light copper. Smooth head that doesn’t last very long. Mild citrus aroma. Slightly sweet apple, followed by tart citrus, a little malt and a gentle but lasting bitter finish. This is very easy drinking and extremely nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium fluffy white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and malt. Light-bodied and crisp with flavors of floral hops, pine and bready malt. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

It’s taken me ages to get round to drinking this, goodness only knows why! It is a great ale, no wonder BrewDog have met with such success. Grown up flavours, lots of complicated bitterness. Strong on hops, with some spicy resin and a little bit of cloves in the background. Tastes bitter, dry and sharp with a finish that leaves an interesting biscuit flavour and a desire for more!.

Delicious. Fruity notes merge beautifully with robust hops flavours. Pleasant bitterness all around. A winner.
