This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Draught at The Local Taphouse (Sydney, Australia). Now this is my type of IPA. On tap, I could drink it all night. The balance is just right and combination of the US pine and NZ tropical fruit is spot on.

Pours a clear solid deep golden color with a full two finger creamy bright white head that sticks itself to everything on the way down. First pop of the cap I thought I smelled sewage coming from the bottle, but after I poured into my glass I couldn’t find that aroma again thank you jebus. The nose gives off lots of spicy pine, a hint of lemon, light caramel, sweet candied sugary malt with a bit of a grainy edge. The taste is bitter, pine and resinous bitterness consume and conquer every taste bud I can muster. Slightly sweet caramel and malt try their best to balance, but wither under the sword of the almighty Humulus. Relatively dry finish with a lingering resinous bitterness. Light to medium body, resinous, dry mouthfeel, medium level of carbonation. This is a decent IPA, I would have loved some more aroma hops personally as I think the aroma is bit lacking. No shortage of bitter hops in this brew.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 Can. Hazy gold, large white head. Aroma is tropical, with strawberry bubblegum, gooseberry, grapefruit, grass clippings, cat’s piss. A little thin and lacking much malt presence let alone character but lacks the sweetness of the old version - an OK swap. Bitter finish is quite brief and after a while there is a touch of sweetness. Pretty good. [3.4]Can. Vibrant fruit aromas, no cat, some peach, pale malt is nice but barely registers. Maybe overclean, but refreshing and lively. Would like just a little more bitterness.

Can. Golden orange with a large, fluffy white head. Fruity aroma with some notes of caramel. The taste was not as fruity as expected. Medium body and carbonation. Good but not excellent.

Tap, Cerveteca. Huge two fingers of white head; lighter hazy straw yellow. Grapefruity and a bit dank in the aroma. Passion fruit, grapefruit, and seems much more aggressive than the previous version and definitely leans American. Slick body and softer carbonation, medium overall. Nicely bitter, and fairly solid fresh.

Can from the Brew Dog Pub in Edinburgh. Pours a beautiful yellow gold with slight orange tone Nose is full of fruity hoppy notes. First sip is nice balance of hoppy bitterness and sweet malt. Finish is bitter but just right lingers nicely. These cans were unbelievably fresh.

330 ml. bottle from Superbrugsen. Golden yellow colour, slightly hazy, with a white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, grasses and fresh hops. Hoppy taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, grapefruits and fresh hops in a refreshing, bitter finish. Medium body and a nice, dry finish. A very drinkable beer, my favorite from Brewdog so far. Good price - taste ratio.

Bottled:
Orangey amber colour with just a hint of cloudiness. Thick and lacing head. Resiny, citrusy hops on the nose. Flavour is grapefruit, orange peel and resiny hops followed by a long herbal bitterness. Very drinkable.
