This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

A goldenorange pour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity, caramel and hay. Taste is sweet with citrusfruit, melon, mandarin...nice bitter ending. Okay beer.

Pours a hazy yellow with a fizzy white head with big bubbles that disappears almost instantaneously? This is not how I remember Punk...Aroma: grainy, caramel, almost no hops. Some vague citrus hops maybe..what is going on?...Taste: somegrapefruity hops, sweet malts, bisquit, very vague hop note. The juicy fruity hops I remember punk having is not there? I think I might have gotten a bad bottle? Will rerate once I have a good bottle.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2013 Citrusy, bitter, modern American style ipa. Despite thier awful branding and approach to marketing this is a good beer. Reminds me of frozen orange juice lollies as a child. Some pine.

Head: Off-white, medium, frothy, diminishing. Colour: amber, clear. Aroma: Strong citric - ripe orange, some maltiness too - toffee? The taste has the fruitiness too along with some bitterness, but not as strong as expected. The body is not watery, but again, thinner than expected. Finishes mildly bitter.

Pale gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of pine, resin, fruit, Taste is resinous at first, marmalade, with good long bitter finish, but very nicely balanced

Smells and tastes of passion fruit, but it is not sweet at all, even a little bitter in end. It is strange but not bad. It is difficult to define. It has a dry end.

Can from Asahiya. Fruity, citrusy, pine -- some good mixed-up stink. Medium straw color. Grapefruit, cookies, tobacco / harsh hops in mid / maltiness comes out in final, and then we’re left with a healthy hop burn. Light-medium body. Hops do come on a bit strongly -- seems light bodied for all that. Still, very tasty.

Decent appearance, interesting aroma, strawberry-melon and hop but the sweetness is not what You’d expect in a beer. Taste is different, much less sweet and slight bitterness, an easy drink but different.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2013 Can from Mane Liquor. Buttery resin, caramel and grapefruit aroma, lots of dominant nelson hop aromas. Big nelson hop profile, plenty of resin, pine, peach and grapefruit. Nice caramel malt, very well balanced. Re-rating after having it from a can, was a lot fresher and a lot better than bottled.
