This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Clear golden beer with a firm white head. Medium carbonation. Strong fruity citrus aroma. Taste starts out fruity than a mix of caramel and bitterness. Also a strong bitterness in the aftertaste. An IPA as an IPA should be. Excellent.

Pours a white head, that last for a decent amount of time. Golden colour without much carbonisation. Hints of citrus and caramel and an intense aroma of passion fruit. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Definitely worth tasting. Probably the best IPA ive ever tasted. (so far)

0,33L bottle, BB 30.10.2014. Pours very slightly hazy golden with white head. The head stays for a moment, lacing is decent. Aroma is intense fruits, pine, and citrus. Taste is sweet and bitter, caramel, fruits, and pine, slightly watery. Finish is intense pine and grapefruit bitter. Overall: great ďgatewayĒ IPA. This beer is really great introduction into craft beer world and IPAs. Itís hoppy enough to be something different; but itís also fruity and sweet, so it isnít too offending for the people who come from the ďmacro lager landĒ. It was one of the first craft beers that I tasted and it made me realize that there is a difference between a beer and the Beer; but after a couple of years drinking craft beers, ďPunk IPAĒ just doesnít feel that special anymore. Itís still a good beer, but there are better and more interesting beers.

660 ml bottle. Pours a nice hazy, sediment laden bright golden with a fair eggshell head that settles to a ring and leaves some foamy lace. Nose involves an initial blast of pineapple followed by some other tropical fruit, spice notes, some melon, some caramelized sugars, almost some banana esters, some kiwi, peaches and apricots, and some sweet grain. Fairly sweet flavor, but quite bitter. Medium to light bodied, quite oily, bright, a bit sticky, with a lengthy and refreshing fruity hoppy bitterness. Damn fine brew, really enjoying the aromatics.

Ins Glas ergieŖt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, fruchtig herb. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig bitter nach exotischen FrŁchten.

11.2 oz bottle into a tulip. A: Pours a hazy golden color. Thereís a one finger white-colored head, but it has poor retention. Lacing is decent enough, though. S: Iím not sure how fresh this is (because IPA from Scotland), but it still has a decent hop profile to it. Not an amazing one, though I can forgive that. Itís loaded with pine, grapefruit, and *maybe* some apricot. The malt backbone comes through quite strongly, loaded with caramel and toffee. Not bad. T: I pick up some Nelson Sauvin-esque fruitness, especially on the opening. Itís weird, actually - itís a combination of grape-y-ness and mint. The more I sip it, the more the mint comes through. And the more I sip it, the more the mint ruins the balance of everything. I even dare suggest itís medicinal. While the general flavor isnít very good, itís not an undrinkable mess. Thatís great, I suppose... M: Itís pretty light on the palate, which is good. In spite of its age, itís also pretty dry - and thatís also good too, I donít want this mint bomb to linger on my palate any further. Carbonation is about medium. O: This would be a lot better if it were fresh. Seeing as Iím a íMerican whoís not in Scotland and donít have access to this AFAP (as fresh as possible), I have to grade it as is, which means I canít give it a good score. Come to think about it, is it really worth buying foreign IPAs? Theyíre always going to be more expensive, and likely wonít be fresh, either.

Good easy to drink IPA. Very easy to drink, can be my everyday IPA. One can feel the hops softly, good to start the evening with it.
