This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Clear amber-lemon; not much head but a film of irridescent bubbles of various sizes. Aroma of "bathroom floral": a hint of rosewater, a hint of PineSol. Fresh spicy flavor followed by bitterness, and then by rosewater. Will be good with our pizza, but on its own, a bit too bitter for my taste.

Opaque gold, strong white head. Light Simcoe on the nose - fruity, but very vague. Noticeably bitter with a hint of sour - definite tropical fruit notes. Dry and bitter finish. Good.

From draft at Taps KL. Hazy blonde with a thin white head. Very light aroma of hops and malts. Flavors of hops, caramel malts, herbs. Not well balanced, quite sweet for an hoppy ale. A bit queamish.

Interesting take on the modern American-style IPA - the blend of hops gives it a unique taste that distinguishes it from other beers of this style, which can too often be a bit samey. The aroma is very fresh, and has fruity notes as well as the usual citrus and resin. However, it seems to lack some malt balance as is common for this type of beer, and by the end of the bottle, nothing but hops can get a little monotonous. Still, overall a good refreshing beer, and a very welcome addition to the usual supermarket bottle choices.

Pint - did not intentionally order a pint. This is actually better from a bottle as it when it’s a little warmer it can be a little sickening by the end of the pint. That said, this is a tasty IPA with lots of flavour. Limited head. Will sample again - but definitely in a smaller measure than a pint
