This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Plenty of fruit aroma from the glass. Slightly hazy, pale golden hue. Very drinkable. A 'session' IPA, although more like a standard pale ale than an IPA. Recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma dominated by pineapple, followed by orange and mango. Juicy. Pours golden, slighty cloudy, one-finger white head. Taste is medium bitterness and low sweetness. Medium-light body, pretty slick, average carbonation and medium finish. Overall a juicy, tropical IPA that has good drinkability.

Pours a clear orange color with small, short lasting white head. Wonderful smell of grapefruit and mango. Medium body with somewhat high but subtle carbonation. Full and creamy mouthfeel. Taste is hops, grapefruit, orange peel, herbs and spices. Some caramel notes as it warms up. I really love the grassy, herbal aftertaste. Very refreshing. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. It really wraps this one up quite nicely. Overall, great example of the style. Recommended!

330ml bottle. Big hoppy aromas. Tastes of mango, pineapple, citrus. A really good example of the modern IPA type and widely available in UK supermarkets and bars. Well worth a try.

Bottle from everywhere! Mostly Sainsbury's 660 bottles for £2.50. Making this the best value hop head beer I can find. Hence I've drunk so much of it but never taken the time to rate! It's wonderfully hoppy yet always distinctive. All the US hop tropical aroma you love. They use a very unobtrusive yeast so all flavours are exposed. I suppose it's more of an APA than an IPA. But the UK market has grown and awareness improved. BrewDog were early pioneers and this is a legacy product. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Le Senk. First, the beer is not in good condition, sorry for the worse rating.Aroma is citrusy, piney, malty, some tropical fruits. Taste of cotrus hops, little bit spicy, good malty base. Minimum carbonation, watery - bad condition.

Bottles, unsure of date, drunk 1/22/16 at the Druid.
Soft, light haziness and a peachy-golden body are topped by a foamy, white head with moderate to strong retention.
Plentiful light citrus and tropical fruit characteristics are overshadowed slightly by a dank, green, nearly earthy character that adds subtle spiciness. Almost a woodiness to it, with no pine or heavy grapefruit and light bready/biscuity malts. No alcohol, flaw or off/old hop notes at all.
Wow, this is a hell of a lot different from the older versions. Where those were full of caramel and heavy bitterness, this is a tightly carbonated, malty, but well-attenuated, balanced, juicy and dank IPA. Bravo to Brewdog. Was not expecting this at all. Nelson hops definitely notable, adding plentiful pear, apple, herbs and lemon, without any real aggressiveness from the simcoe or boring, heavy orange rind from the cascade. Dextrinous, yet still very drinkable body and no alcohol or flaws noted. Perhaps a touch too bitter with warming, but a minor complaint.
