3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Frothy white head that stays well. A slight haze to a golden body. Spotty lacework. Classic, inviting hoppy aroma with a good punch of grapefruits. Nectar and grapefruits in flavour supported by a twist of citrus shells and mid-sweet malts. Smooth, dry bitter ending. Well balanced. My overall score for the 6% version was 3.9 (Tromsø, 21.01.2012).

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml can poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is hazy orange with a medium sized frothy beige head that reduced quickly, leaving a little lacing behind on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peels and lemon zest. Flavours of grapefruit, caramel, orange peels and lemon zest. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, smooth texture and average carbonation. BrewDog Punk is overall a good solid IPA.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can from the LCBO, admit the graphics caught my eye.
Glad they did, I love IPA’s and I really love this. Clean, fruit flavours piping all over. Beautifully & hoppy without tasting like pine tar
Colour is spot on a tad cloudy ( like that).
Just earned a spot on the top shelf

Can’t help thinking of Lux Interior of The Cramps singing "You ain’t no punk, you punk" when drinking & thinking about this beer. Not sure I’d call this version of the IPA punk, but I do like it. Comes on stronger than a last call pickup line at the local bar on the nose & you have to love the tropical fruit punch from the hops. Distinct in the current Ontario, Canada market where we are in drowning in clone session IPAs & the same-old-same-old hop cpmbo IPAs. Reminds me of a soft rock version of one of my favourite IPAs from New Zealand, Hopwired.

Bottle. Grassy, hoppy, nice lingering modest ibu bitterness. Enjoyed it more with each sip. Would recommend

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was a great introduction to the IPA style. When at a pub, it’s always a great brew to fall back on towards the end of the night, after having tasted various other beers.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Pours pale hazy with white head. Aroma: a lot of hops with tones of citrus, resin, tropical fruits, mango. Taste: hops, grapefruit, citrus, nuts, malt. The finish is long and bitter. Body is quite full but the carbonation is a bit flat in my opinion. Nice beer though.
