This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Golden body with a white head that had no real retention or lace. Aroma had some nice floral hop notes, mild resin and some toasted malts. Flavor had a good hop presence that was dominated by grapefruit hops. Malts weren’t much of anything and the finish was moderate.

can. Poured hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Big citrus hop aroma, a hint sulphury. Medium bodied, a bit watery mouthfeel. Flavour of oranges with bitter pith, herbal hops, slight peppery note, bready pale malt, sticky tart finish.

2015 BJCP Category: 21A American IPA

AROMA: West Coast style of citrus and tropical fruit. Clean and bright nose. Low grainy malt background. A hint of grass. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Pale orange hue; slightly hazy body (chill haze). Small, white foam mostly dissipates leaving little lacing. 2/3

FLAVOR: Mostly citrusy hops throughout; especially orange and pink grapefruit. Slight grass or tea-like flavor in the background. Bitterness is too low for the style (seems like a pale ale). Clean, unobstructive, grainy malt presence. 12/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body with matching carbonation level (closer to light than medium). Texture is smooth and approaching watery. Aftertaste is almost completely clean. Seems much lighter than even 5.6% ABV. 3/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: While it smells good and tastes fine; this is better approached as a pale ale than an IPA. 6/10

A pretty nice simple IPA. Light color, nice hoppy aroma, and a refreshing, slightly bitter taste. Overall a decent inoffensive IPA.

From a can. Exactly what you would expect, not too much malt profile and a metric shit ton of hops.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2016 Very nice american-hoppy aroma, appearance is not very atractive,i prefer more bleary of course there is Extra Pale malt but its still very translucent. Bitter taste from start to finnish, nice aroma continues after swallowing in my mouth. Overall: this is probably one of the best IPA i ever tried. Congratulations Brewdog!

Keg @Borefts 2016 (and drunk many many times before, just realised it had never been rated). Pours yellow gold white head. Nose is pine, resin and citrus. Taste is orange and pine, bitter finish. I remember the old Punk that would have beat this beer around its face.

Bottle. Clear amber, small white head fastly diminishing. Nice and inviting aroma, fresh. Fruity; peach and pineapple. Fine taste. Fruity with a bitter and fresh ending. The finish is a bit like the bitterness of a grapefruit. High levels of corbonations and a watery texture. Good beer.

Bottle from maruhn. Pours clear Amber. Smells of citrus and other summer fruits. Taste starts sweet and fruity. Palate is slightly bitter with oily mouthfeel. Finish is a bit exotic fruit and sour. Carbonation depletes fast, so Drink up! I like it, just the finish is weird.
