This fresh, full flavour natural beer is our tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish.

Bottle, 355ml. Deep golden colour with a magnificent offwhite head. Aroma is totally floral; dry and heavy. Lets the hop character overwhelm the malt base but not too much. Just a touch of metallic aftertase. I’ve had better IPAs

Starker Maracujaduft. Beginnt mit intensivem Maracujageschmack, der mittig an Bitterkeit zulegt, aber noch moderat wirkt. Der Abgang verstärkt die Bitternote und bietet trockene Zitrusnoten. Gefällt.

Pours blond with a frothy head. Leaves god tracing. Smells fruity, hoppy. floral. Tastes has hoppy bitters and some straw like field aftertaste that starts to shine about halfway through the beer. There’s a bit of an unpleasant sourness that gathers in my throat after a while, however. Kind of pasty, astringent. If it wasn’t for that I would have enjoyed this a lot more. Can from the lcbo.

From the can bought at LCBO, pours a clear gold with a big wispy white head. Aroma is weedy, citrusy towards grapefruit and pineapple. Bitter, very carbonated quick clean finish. Glad to see it on the shelves. Keep them coming LCBO!

Bottle) Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. The aroma holds grapefruit juice, pine, herbs, pineapples, mango, tangerine, peach, gooseberries and passion fruits up front with undertones of cat litter box, black currant tea, strawberries, grass and grapes. Malt brings crackers, bread and hay. Light, juicy and clean on the nose. The flavour is light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, herbs, pine, tea, touch of berries, crackers, hay and white bread. The mouthfeel is clean, tight and crisp with a medium carbonation. Juicy grapefruit, tart tropical fruits, herbs, pine and slim malt on the finish. Light to medium bodied.

330 ml can from the LCBO. Deep golden pour with a frothy white head. The nose is of fresh spicy/fruity hops. Orange and grapefruit citrus with a touch of something tropical as well. Nice crackery malts that lend just a touch of sweetness on the back of the palate. It’s a nice IPA although I think this one has seen fresher days. Good balance though - glad to see this one at the LCBO for the summer.

Mid golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. Strong hoppy aroma, citrusy, floral and piney. Dry taste. Full hop flavour, piney then floral, elderflowers, then a strong citrus fruit flavour of orange peel and grapefruit. The hoppy flavour lasts right through the finish.

Small bottle. Slightly cloudy golden body, small head. Sweet floral hops in the aroma. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Taste is mellow (not quite an "explosion") with fruity hops and medium bitterness. Very drinkable and sessionable, but too pricey for doing that here.

Bottle. Golden with a frothy head. Lovely aroma - mango, white grapes, lychee, peach, grapefruit and some pine. Man, I love those American hops! Unfortunately though, the taste does not live up to the aroma and in effect the beer happens to be quite a let-down, given the hype that surrounds it. Light, almost watery body, no substantial maltiness, the hops come across more floral-piney than tropical while drinking, and the bitterness is not really strong for an IPA. This is supposed to be rebelious but comes across rather tame. Good and solid but nothing more.
