Must have been old bottle when we had it, but it was pretty good. Opaque blond. No head. Still has melon and tropical fruit notes on the nose. Sweet and hoppy, lots of melon and papaya on the palate as well. Malts are coming through pretty rich. This is aging nicely (rated Apr 2011).

(660ml Bottle, Batch 001, BB 01/01/09) Pours a transparent yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, freshly ground corn feed, earthiness, urine, and citrus. Flavor of crisp hops (citrus, grass, pine) and biscuit with a lingering moderately bitter finish.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2011 33cl bottle at Chris Shindig. I had this a couple of times as I couldn’t make my mind up. Pale gold, bit of stale hay, bit of lychee, has got a lot of hops. Lots of hot hop on the end. The second bottle I had was colder and better. Nice hop. 3.4/5
Rerate cask at Coastguard, Bottle from Utobeer. Up against Jaipur as Britain’s best IPA? Creamy hop aroma, quite a light intense hop if that makes sense, good top hop notes. Great in moouth, really wide and great condition. Finish is stunning. Hot pepper green hop is floral and hot at the same time.
Overall my most drunk beer of 2010 and third best British IPA behind Dobber and Jaipur.
Batch 382 - nope, got some odd woodyness, the malts aren’t quite right and not hoppy enough, not a rebuy

Bottled
Golden color, small white head. Cat piss -hoppy aroma (=fresh grass). Cut grass bitterness in the flavor. Nicely balanced, not too alcoholic. Hoppyness rises nicely in the aftertaste. Similar to Stadin Alpo’s IPA:

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yngwie (9177) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 15, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2008 Bottle. A clear, yellowish golden pour leaves a white head. Citrus and pine dominates the aroma. There’s maltyness and a flowery and fruity note too. The flavor is much the same as the aroma, and finishes with lasting flavors of pine and resin. Medium body, and an almost stinging mouthfeel from the bitterness. One-dimentional but nice. Judging from my two different samples, it almost looks as I had two different beers, but I’m sure I haven’t. Rating: 7-3-7-3-14-3.4. (080509)
Bottle, thx to Ole_R for sharing. It pours a clear, pale golden body with a medium-sized white head. Heavy roasted malty nose, slightly coffee-ish, with some pine and peach and a heavy hoppyness. Hoppy flavor with pine and resin, as well as some coffee and a balancing maltyness. Full-bodied and with a long hoppy finish. Very malty for an IPA, more like a hopped-up scotch ale, but I like it.
