2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dionysian_son (228) - Colorado, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Pours a unfiltered amber/orange with eggshell head that quickly collapses. Nose is most notable for a mild citrus hint and biscuity malt. Medium body in the mouth and active on the tongue. Starts moist moving into bread and bitter, grassy hop. More subdued and European hop tones. Balanced beer but not worth the price.

330ml bottle.
Pours a medium straw/light amber, with a white head.
Malty, somewhat grainy, lightly toasted aromas, hops, lemon, pineapple, diacetyl.
Medium bodied, dry, high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Malty, grainy, hoppy taste, quite spicy, lemon, butter diacetyl.
A bit rough, the bottle is not old, but almost feels slightly oxidized. (2011-06-10)

Cerveza de un bonito color ámbar dorado, aroma cítrico, sabor amargo bien balaceado con la malta. Para mi gusto, mejora en barril.

This is my first beer that I rate for ratebeer and i’m not impressed. Well, ratebeer is a great site but the beer i’m drinking not that much.
However. It’s a nice beer, fresh, agressive with its hops and yeast, but also some funny delicate hints of lychee. That combination is pretty cool, but it’s to little. It’s has a long finish but very bitter. Cheers!

Hoppy taste with fruity hints but too much of a hint of cough medicine about it. Not impressed.

Bottled@chris_o. Light grainy and light citrus aroma. Pale yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Light malty, pretty hoppy, not too much happening, hop dry finish. It’s quite one dimensional.

Bottle. Pours somewhat of a hazy yellow like a pilsner with a weak, white head which fades almost immediately. The nose is musty/dusty like an old burlap sack with some past-its-prime earthy hop character and a hint of pear/champagne. Pale malt backbone with notes of grapefruit, lemon and some herbal hop bitterness. Ample bitterness, doesn’t end too harsh. The body is lifeless with very low carbonation and a thin mouthfeel. I couldn’t get into this one.

slightly weak in the flavor. the hops are sub-standard with lots of malts. the rest of is thin but smooth.

Best by 7/7/09 Bottle poured into a pint glass produced a finger worth of fluffy white head that turned to a thick lace .The body of the brew however is a hazy pale yellow the beer that really looks like pilsner.
There is not much hops in the aroma actually the yeast stands out more than the hops. There is a slight lemon aroma here as well.
The flavor is really bitter that’s about it. Is this what the world thinks an American IPA should be?
This brew is watery and light in the mouth feel department. I am not really getting into this one.
I think this brew is a one and done for me

A nice golden colour in the glass with a little head that sticks around. The nose is very aromatic, being reminiscent of pine needles. For the hop-head this is ideal as it is refreshing to the point of being extremely astringent. Unfortunately, my Belgian Tripel/Imperial Porter palate is looking for a little more sweetness and this beer is not balanced at all in my opinion. Overall, I prefer the 5.4%. .
