COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg: Filtered. Cask: Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Marris Otter Extra Pale Malt; Chinook, Crystal, Motoeka hops. IBUs 65
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

NOTE: The recipe was changed at the end of 2009, and this version is no longer made, if you have a bottle with a BBD after 1.1.12, you should go to the "Punk IPA (5.4%)" version.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow/golden with a small white head and an aroma of hops, citrus and grass. The flavour is high on hops, some malts and grapefruits. A nice bitter finish. Loely beer!

Trevlig IPA med friska frukt- och citrustoner. Syrlig arom och fin gyllenfärg med en trevlig beska i slutet.

Mild for style, but still very nice. Very hazy with sticky white head. Aroma is lemon grass. Taste follows nose with a mild bitter start that fades quickly. This is a gateway ipa. Something that could get a newbie on the road to more robust ipas.

Bottle. very refreshing beer, with a good aroma, taste is weak, not as the Punk IPA that I drunk some years ago. Can it be that they have changed the hops?

For a ’punk’ IPA, this is more Busted than Sex Pistols. Mild citrus and grassy aroma, nowhere near as bitter as expecting. Feels like this had been toned down for the supermarkets.

A 5.6% bottle. Pours a nice golden pale beer. Good head. The smell is great. Again. Grapefruit, orange. The taste is nice. Good hoppy tast. It tast a lot like the 5am saint. The palate is average. Good carbo, thin body, sticky texture.

Originally rated on 20.11.2009. 330ml bottle from Alko? Slightly unbalanced IPA with notes of berries. Not as good as the new one.

Bottle @ home.

Draft - Grassy and citrus hops with grains. Cloudy yellow with a thin but rich head. Lemony, bitter and soapy. Just not good for me, which is too bad considering I love Hardcore. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
