cask blackfriars. after missing all of the glorious beers at the gathering, i was lucky enough to sample this bit o heaven. aroma was very similiar to the punk ipa, however it also was tinged with sweetness. explosive tastes of hops, citrus, grass, and earth with a great helping of oakyness. not much alcohol in the taste but after a couple of pints you could definately feel it. very friggin good.

Cask (Thanks to Magic_Dave6): Poured a coppery amber with a light white head. The aroma is Fruit with a very hoppy nose tingling smell. The taste is hoppy and acidic on my tongue, very impressive. Finish is a dry bitter, but pleasant as well! What a first night in Glasgow....Karl even likes it.

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma is typicaly brewdog, grassy cat piss, sweet gariny pale malt, but with a extra sweetness. Taste is similar but with a rounded earthyness from the whisky, the dry grassy hop character doesnt fully go well with the very subtle whisky notes, but nice all the same.

cask Aberdeen Beer festival 07 ... Golden orange ... light whiskey nose ... The same sharp tart grapefruit as Punk IPA but i found the tones of clearly identifable whiskey clashed rather than complemented. Still its nice to see the Brewers continuing there experimentation.
