Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

Hazy golden. Fast, soapy head. Aroma: Citris hops. Flavor: Sweet citris hops followed by dry bitterness to the finish. America has snatched the IPA from the Brits and have ran away with it. Sad that most Americans are stuck on the Macro’s. "Good Dog!"

Bottle. Pours clear orange, good bubbly head. Fruity aroma, reminded me of their Trashy Blonde I had minutes before. Sweet fruits, sweet caramel malts, and a fair bit of citrus hops. Fruity and lemony hops do most of the work on your tongue, but is backed up by a fruit and caramel, almost sugary sweetness. Well balanced, with a strong, dry, bitter finish. A bit thin, lively carbonated.

Best by 7/7/09 Bottle poured into a pint glass produced a finger worth of fluffy white head that turned to a thick lace .The body of the brew however is a hazy pale yellow the beer that really looks like pilsner. There is not much hops in the aroma actually the yeast stands out more than the hops. There is a slight lemon aroma here as well. The flavor is really bitter that’s about it. Is this what the world thinks an American IPA should be? This brew is watery and light in the mouth feel department. I am not really getting into this one. I think this brew is a one and done for me

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy yellow American-like bitter tasting beer, i think this more bitter than an common British I.P.A.

On tap at Orsted. Poured golden with a small white head. Aroma consisted of pine notes and bitter hops. Flavor had some bitterness but I prefer a little more in my IPAs. Still enjoyable.

Pours slightly hazy pale orange with straw yellow edges and a fizzy 1 finger white head that has good retention. Aroma is citrus, a little pine, nice caramel and toffee notes, raw nuts, lots of yeasty bread notes, hints of grass and wildflowers. Flavor is buttery toffee, floral notes, white tea, grapefruit, citrus hops, grainy notes, lots of fruity notes, blood orange, lightly toasted biscuit and some yeasty bread notes. FInish is moderately bitter hops, buttered biscuits, tea, herbal notes and lots of lingering fruitiness. Palate is like crisp mineral water with a slightly oily component and a pleasantly dry finish. Good stuff overall, definitely an intereting take on the style, but there are a couple off flavors that bring it down a bit.

A kind of a strange IPA. Granted this was tasted about five months beyond its best by date. It poured a very thin, pale yellow color, with a thin layer of off white head. The aroma was yeasty, bready, with some lemon. The flavor was malty bread and caramel, lempn and grapefruit with a piney and fruity finish. It seems like kind of a strong pale ale/IPA mix. Interesting and tasty.

Bottle. Hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Citric aroma with piney notes. Some floral and mineral notes as well. Grapefruity flavour with some oranges, pine and grass. Bit watery mouthfeel. Medium hoppy finish. I was a bit disappointed with this brew.
