Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

Bottle. Golden colour with a small white head. Sweet citrusy aroma. The flavour is hoppy and fruity with hints of grass. Medium-bodied and bitter finish.

Bottle in Northfield, MA. Amber IPA with slight head. Wonderful hoppy and citrus nose. Dry tasting with pine tree and grapefruit coming in strong. High ABV is well-hidden. Goes down very well. Slick, well done, and enjoyable.

Very beautiful red-brown beer with thin white head. Aroma is very pleasant, but it could be even more full: tropical fruits, some sweetness, grapefruit. Flavour is bitter in the beginning and it last, quite dry, slightly fruitfull and also some pine needles are found. Surprisingly, quite easy to drink, but still nice and oily. Punk IPA is wonderfull beer, but more complexicity could lift this beer to the top. Anyway, great beer.

Dominant dry grapefruit bitterness. Herbal hops with light citrus notes. Taste also has notes of pine tree bark and mint. Almost more like very bitter grapefruit juice than beer. Bitter aftertaste. Pale yellow hazy body with small head. Low carbonated.

Pours a hazy peachy blonde color with a very thin white head. Strong aroma of grapefruit with some biscuity malt, there’s not much hops in the nose. The flavor has pleasant floral, citrusy hops along with biscuity malt and bitterness in the end. The body is light and the carbonation is almost flat.

are these scots using nz hops here? very green aromas of passionfruit and cumquat on top of some nice baking bread. the aroma is nice, just a lot fainter and more delicate than I was expecting. doesn’t surround your head with a cloud of hop fumes. light, dry, salty and bitter in a lemony styrian sort of way at the end - closer to bitter n twisted or black sheep than arrogant bastard that’s for sure. a bit too flimsy.

330 ml bottle.Batch 014. Pours a light golden colour, with a small white head, which disappear fast.Aroma of flowers and citrus, hoppy. Hops dominates the taste, pine resin and malt sweetness which turns rather bitter to the end.
