| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 14, 2009 There really should be a separate rating for this beer from the cask, the bottle is very tasty, but straight from the barrel it really shows off. I couldn’t get the bloody thing to clear so there was a bit of sediment lurking, but that doesn’t matter. The nose just explodes off the glass, limes & grapefruit abound, with tropical fruit & lychee. The palate is fine & the flavours again explode. Its a bit like drinking a grapefruit sherbert dib-dab, that ends with a nice bitter finish. Dangerous stuff, so tasty & refreshing you don’t notice the 6%. jonno (563), Brisbane, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A good little IPA. Citrus is predominant in the nose and in the mouth the malt steps back and lets the citric bitterness stamp all over your tongue. Quite aggressive. Full bodied. Would be difficult to drink more than a few, but still good effort. bonk0076 (48), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Pours hazy golden color with no head whatsoever. Aroma is dominated by fruit, but with a floral hint. Slight citrus flavor up front, hops on the finish. Somewhat watery. nick76 (2652), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2009 The aroma is malty with pine and citrus hops. The appearance is hazy gold with almost no head. The flavor is like the aroma with a nice caramel to hops balance. The palate is thin but OK. Overall this is a good tasting beer but it is almost flat and looks uninspiring. Very light gold (actually scaringly light!), with a little orange hue, and disappearing off-white head.
Lovely grapefruit nose. Fruity taste, looong, bitter, piney aftertaste. Lovely IPA, not all that "punked", just a nice IPA. Hermod (277), Vantaa, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2009 33cl bottle from Alko. (from notes, had this one in spring 2009.) Pours a hazy yellow/orange colour with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma, slighty citrusfruit also. Hoppy in flavour with a hint of lemon . Finishes bitter. Nice interesting brew. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Light amber pour with small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, with little hop character. Bottle was a little old. Leaves an OK aftertaste, some bitterness. I get more of a malt, bitterness than hops. Lacing indicates each sip taken.
