I try to stay away from beers with flashy names and labels but decided to try this one after reading some of the reviews. Im glad I did. One thing I dont get is why its sold on a 330 ml instead of the regular 500 ml you would expect.
It pours a light golden, with little head. Medium carbonation, it looks more like a lager than an ale. The aroma is of pure hops, maybe some hay and grasses. The taste is citric and bitter, with hops ever present. It finishes very dry and bitter. A very good beer. A Bullit (1346), Glasgow, Scotland

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Bottle. Golden/Blonde in color with a small off white head. Aroma of light earthy and floral hops, some pale malts and biscuity-dry malt. Not enough hops in the aroma for an IPA in my opinion. Taste is really nowhere near as assertive as I like an IPA to be- it does have some earthy and floral hops, with perhaps a touch of citrus but is overall lacking. A good amount of bready pale malts poking in throughout the taste, finishes dry and somewhat bitter, but just not enough. Body is there, but is still pretty light for the style. Overall I felt this was not up to par, especially considering the price tag on the bottle. Dissapointing. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is light/medium malt-musty/wood, earthy/herbal hops-tobacco, yeasty. Taste is light/medium malt-musty/wood, earthy/herbal hops-tobacco, yeasty. Finishes dry and chalky. An OK beer, less than OK to style. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this. NoiZe (1290), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2008 bottle from binnys beverage depot, orland park. hazy apricot color, no head, tiny off white bubbles around rim. aroma of creamy hoppy grapefruit, but pretty mild. flavor is also creamy grapefruit, but amazingly mild. the slightest hint of bitter hops possible. also a hint of caramel. medium bodied, mildly bitter finish. perhaps i am too rough on this ipa for its mildness, because i like it the more i drink it. or maybe i just get more drunk. cheers.
