Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

Had mixed feeling about this IPA. Very unusual. Thick and slightly soapy palate. Lingering bitter hops. Grassy hop and light malt.

500 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a translucent pale gold color with a small white head that diminishes and leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is faint with some light fruits. The taste is of one dimensional piny biter hops. The mouthfeel is malty. The finish is long and harsh..Overall: I really did not enjoy this much at all.

Thin coarse white head. Copper body. Strong tropical fruit and rubber aroma (Simcoe?). Dry, sharp tropical fruit and Simcoe taste with wooden resiny notes. Light-bodied. Bitter wooden resiny aftertaste. A bit one-dimensional. Harsh and aggressive without very much to offer. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Cask @ Bow bar, Scotland. Aroma has hops, citrus (grapefruit). Clear golden coloured with a white head. Taste is bitter, bit sweet, quite fruity (peach/aprikot, citrus). More bitter in the end. Medium bodied. Very pleasant IPA.

Light golden color with a white head. Strong aroma with hops and citrus. This is a magic herbal elixir with elder and ginger. Turns really aggressive with a fantastic bitterness. Like chewing on a thick grapefruit peel. This IPA should have no problem making it to India and back again!

Bottle from La Bodega. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet citrus and fruit hops aroma and taste, nice carbonation.

bit of a bland aroma of broomstraw with a pear like beer wiff toward the end. i found a grape red, green and purple barely sweet with that broomstraw type flavor of heavyish malt wrapped around a hop heads satisfactory level of spicy hop and citrus hop. the finish is sharp and lasting with a hint of pineapple. the brew looks like natural style apple juice with a dishwater type white head and a bit slick in appearance as well. quite demonstrative and all things considered interestingly different.

330ml bottle from Tesco, Alfreton/ Amber with a ring of white head; bitter marmalade aroma; tangy bitter citrus flavour with orange and grapefruit predominating; warming and intensely bitter finish. Very smooth and mellow, an excellent easy-drinking well-balanced IPA.
