Hazy yellow body with small head even on aggressive pour. Some citrus trying to get my attention but malt holding it back. Moderate dryness on the palate. Not good for 9 bukeroos a bottle. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 16, 2008 Very slight white head, soon goes though, hops on the nose and very prominent grapefruit citrus flavours in the mouth, a waxy mouthfeel to the beer and a nice maltiness in the finish Ljunkan (385), Karlstad, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2008 I’ve had this a couple of times and I’ve started to appreciate it more and more. Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus hoppy, notes of elderflowers. Flavour is similar to the the aroma; first of all this is very bitter, hoppy, citrus and elderflowers... a very good beer from Brewdog, and (for now) the only decent IPA you easily can get here in Sweden. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2008 22.4 oz. bottle. Batch #003. Clear, golden color. Thin, whispy white head. Doesn’t stay around for very long. Aroma of citrus hops and honeysickle. Flavor is pretty good. Sweet bready malts dominate. Just a twinge of hops, but the finish is strongly bitter. Interesting take on the style. Beth101 (317), West Yorkshire, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2008 Pours a nice golden color, good clarity, soft white head. Hops in the nose are far from your typical NW IPA, herbal and earthy, maybe slightly grassy. Bready malts up front, soft caramel character. Finish provides a bit of fruitiness, but the hops bring back the earthen qualities. I like this beer as a lighter hopped sessionable IPA, but like the amber the price is steep for what you get, maybe a 12oz bottle might work better. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA
