| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Updated: Aug 20, 2008Last time I visited London I bought a few bottles from BrewDog at Utobeer to be enjoyed back home in Tromsø. First to go was a 330ml bottle (bb.22.11.08) of this post-modern ale. Pours an almost clear golden body supplied by a frothy, white head with good retention and with some display of laceworks. Aroma and, especially, flavour are filled with sappy hops. Sharp and lingering bitter ending. Medium bodied and dry hopped palate. A perfect, refreshing and moreish summer drink (31.07.2008). bhensonb (4242), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Bomber (batch 001) dated 01/01/0? (smeared) from Ledgers in Berkeley. Brassy gold color with a good white head. The aroma is fruity esters. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is kiwi/strawberry with something like ripe stone fruits. The malt is not all that noticeable. It’s rather different. Takes time for the bitter to really differentiate, but it does that nicely. Ends a hint earthy? Really very tasty. Heavy alc for the UK, not so heavy for US. Goes down a treat. Dedollewaitor (3650), Odense, Denmark

Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Fine bitterness in the end. Enjoyable! Kinz (2200), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Nice to see this show up in the area. Pours a light, slightly hazy gold, decent head. Aroma is hoppy - light biscuit malts with a good bit of floral, pine, and woodsy earthy notes. Flavor is a straight match to the nose. Interesting blend of hops here, nice to see a different take on the style other than the usual American hop varieties. Good stuff. joss (3653), Garching b. München, Germany
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Bottle from Systembolaget. Pale golden, low lacing head. Nice floral hop nose.
Medium to light body. A bit cookie malt, focus on the big hops: Pine, grass, seaweed, tropical fruits. Dry puckering hop finish, earthy aftertaste. Nice.
