Jul 14, 2008 A nice IPA that can be summed up in two words: bitter hoppiness. It is very bitter for an IPA which made it more appealing to me as I find a lot of IPAs a bit bland. This is my first beer from Brewdog and I have not been disappointed, looking forward to trying more of their ales. I must admit that I did like the dig at yellow canned lager drinkers on the side of the bottle.

Jul 13, 2008 Gold, light head, a bit of lacing. Orange dominating on the aroma, rather nice. Full in the mouth but still the malts feel almost demore with the hops taking quickly over resiny grapefruit and a bit of orange.

Jul 12, 2008 660ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, toffee, pine, resin, flowers, and grass. Poured golden in color with a medium to large-sized, creamy, rocky, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, grass, caramel, pine, and a bit of butter. Medium body. Viscous, syrupy texture is smooth and easy drinking. Soft carbonation. Sweet, thick, hoppy finish.

Jul 12, 2008 330ml bottle, at home with renffisch, 17th June 2008. Gold with a small line of head. As for nose, it’s funk not punk - farmyard time. Musky dry bitterness in the mouth, very refreshing, and then it delivers an almost painfully dry, biting finish. A great IPA.

Jul 5, 2008 Bottle - Batch 004. Slightly hazy light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, but with a softer edge than the OTT American IPAs - notes of citrus and tropical fruit, with an underpinning of caramel malt, very nice. Body is soft, almost cask-like, really pleasant. Flavour starts moderately sweet, developing an earthy quality before moving into the punchy hop bitterness with notes of citrus and pine. This is a really solid and quaffable ale - excellent!

Jul 5, 2008 Medium hoppy, citrusy nose with some caramel. The flavour is not that heavy on the hops. but citrus, pines and grapes dominates, but the malt is quite evident. Quite bitter, fine and fresh.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Really floral aroma. Taste is pretty bitter with lots of floral and fruity notes,not the typical British IPA.
