| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Honestly this was pretty average I felt. Nice and dry, though perhaps a little too dry. The hops had so much emphasis as to make it one dimensional and plain. I thought this one could use a huge boost of malts and the sugars that they provide. Caramel anyone? Pretty unimpressed. kseecs16 (874), Naperville, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2009 500 ml bottle from the Boise co-op. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head and lots of lacing. The aroma is full of honey, sweet citrus hops and tropical fruits. The flavor is rich and sweet; a mix of honey and sweet butter soaked biscuit with some citrus hops and light bitterness. Not bad, but not my favorite IPA. RuneStumo (514), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway

Pale anber colour with white head. Just like the Chaos Theory the aroma is totaly dominated by bitter hops. There is aslo some malt. The aromatic hops goes well with all the bitterness. Very nice IPA. manuchampions (103), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Lager yellow in colour and pours with very little head and almost no carbonation. Aroma is also fairly lager like with more of a grassy, european nose like you might find in a Czech pilsner. The taste is a tad thin with little malt evident at all. As promised the hops do attack in the finish and linger but not in the way you’d expect from either a British or American IPA. Honestly if I had to classify this one blind I’d suspect it was an imperial pilsner. On that basis the score has to suffer...but it’s not an unpleasant beer, just not really a satisfying IPA of either new or old world style. Reminded me of Prima Pils and Brooklyn lager. diabel (1368), Aarschot, Belgium
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Bottle Clear, blond body. White head. Complex aroma of hops, flowers, ... Harshly bitter flavour, bit too much 1 dimensional and astringent. Still quite well balanced. Dervock (178), Emu plains, Australia
