Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

Bottle. Yellow with white head. Fresh, nice bitterness. Metallic. Citrus. Grape maybe? Dry, bitter finish. Thin body.

Wowee. I recalled this being pretty awesome and it seems my memory is good (for beer stuff at least). Massive weedy, sweaty, resiny British hops in the aroma - incredibly intense in the best possible way - with a hint of rosewater. No real esters or malt, quite clean besides the hops. Tastes incredibly bitter but really good. Pale malts are there but don’t really bring any sweetness, just enough structure to carry the hopping. Very dry, loads of hop flavour, very bitter. Though it shares a lot philosophically with US IPAs (clean yeast, massive hopping) it’s basically unrecognisable as such. Barely any malt sweetness, no hop weirdness and no Pine O Cleen. Kinda like the beer world’s answer to a martini. Fun stuff, though I imagine a lot of people would hate it. I like it a lot.

Pours pale gold with 2-finger white head. Nose is Simcoe hoppy with that cheesy, feety hop aroma, tropical fruit, malt, white pepper. Nice nose on this. The flavor is hoppy, malty, with intermingling citrus, white pepper, and tropical fruit notes throughout. This is a unique, well made IPA.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy pale golden with a rough, off-white head. Lightly citrusy hoppy nose. Medium body with lightly sweet pale malts, fruit accents and a fairly dry and hoppy finish. 250308

22.4 oz. bottle. Poured clear orangish gold. Thin white head. Very nicely balanced between citrus hoppiness and sweet malts. Finished with a dry, lingering bitterness. Sessionable. Not a big fan of the marketing campaign; the "we don’t care if you don’t like our beer" micro schtick is a bit old.
