4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2014 Alla spina.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Drank as a draught at a bar. Tastes similar as the punk IPA but is a bit sweeter and fresher. Really good!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Patricks. An unclear, orange colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head leaving curtains. The aroma is on the hoppy side, sugary too, with lots of tropical fruits. Some orange peel and a little peppery touch. It’s sweet on the palate, with a balancing bitterness. Orange peel, pine cones and some pale malts. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Long finish. There’s a tad too much yeast flavour here, else it’s a fine one. 130919

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap (Kitty’s, Helsinki )
Pale orange, tiny keggy head. One of the most blackcurrant leafy aromas I’ve ever smelt. Fruity, and clearly with a grungy Belgian tang. Not all the way to saison grunge, but part of the way there. Massively fruity in the mouth, but the raw earthy malts are there too. Palate is sweet and would be smooth if it wasn’t for the quite harsh carbonation. Some sips are quite lovely, worth a 7, but others are quite unpleasant, very dirty, and harshly cat-pissy. Some spicy savoury food aspects, far eastern, or even subcontinental. A tough one to call, could be anything between 2.5 and 3.3.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at WilliamK, Helsinki. A clear color of bronze with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is overall hoppy and very fruity - citrus, orange - with some herbal and sweetish yeasty notes, probably from the Belgian yeasts. Taste is crisp and fresh, easily drinkable. Bitterness is medium; hops bite, but not very deep. Mostly fruitiness and some grassy notes in the taste. Light to medium body with average to lively carbonation. Nice, easy IPA but I prefer a bit stronger and richer ones.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ William K Sello, Espoo
Pours clear golden orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of spices, fruity and grassy hops, malts and earthy yeast. Taste is yeasty, fruity and spicy with notes of grassy hops and lemon. Finish is fresh hoppy, grassy and spicy with hints of fruits. Quite tasty and balanced Belgian style IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught @ Bishops Arms Gustav Adols Torg Malmö. Slightly unclear orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is lightly malty, very fruity, hops, orange, mandarin. Taste lightly malts, hops, again very fruity, orange, citrus, lightly grassy, nicely bitter. Don’t really get that Belgian yeast which I think is a good thing. Medium body and carbonation. Good stuff!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught@kittys. Light copper coloured, filtered. Fruity hoppy nose- oranges, currants, green berries. A hayish peppery maltyness. Body is dry, medium light bodied, cleansing. Lots of hops, peppery yeasty flavours, a bit of brewdogian ultraclean caramel. I like the fruityness, the slight green hoppyness. And being brewdog&super clean, I find it quite enjoyable. Basically a peppery version of punk ipa.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Keg at Kitty’s, 20130831) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had black currant leaves, fruitiness, caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, cough mixture, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. The aroma promised more but the taste was quite displeasing.
