La presentazione è ottima, bel colore tonaca di frate pieno con schiuma color caffèlatte che ben si erge. L’aroma è decisamente di caffè e sentori leggeri di cacao. Anche in bocca la nostra si fa valere, bel corpo gusto abbastanza importante. Secondo me un pochino di carattere in più, ma comunque buona...

Deep brown with a thin head. Roasted, smokey, plum and alcohol aromas. Moderately bitter. Medium body.

Black with thick bubbly brown head. Aroma isn’t overwhelming, roasted and dry malty. Some sticky fruit. Very rich taste, good fierce sweetness that’s balanced by the roasted bitterness in the middle. Not very complex except the dry end. (33cl bottle at Kafe België)

Black with a oily brown head. Chocolate, fusels, dark bread and bourbony hints. Big body.

Bottle: Pours a very nice black beer with a small beige head that disappears slowly. Smell a lot of hops, some roasted ingredients and some bitternes (good mix of hops and roasted ingredients). Taste is very well balanced and a good mix of roasted ingredients, hops, coffee, some bitter chocolate, a small hint of wood and some hints of roasted sugars. Starts as a pretty fresh and complex taste which changes quick into a bitter and roasted taste and than changes into a bitter and coffee after taste. Even a bit of a viscous. Very well balanced and low carbonated high light of Brewdog.

pours dark and rich with great head. aromas are intense, chocolate, coffee bean and kreamy. palate is sooo good. big, monstrous but amazing balance. roasted, chocolate notes are amazing. great brew.

Deep deep brown, almost black body with a light brown head. Tastes of dark chocolate, roasted coffe beans, vanilla and roasted malt. I also detect some licorice. I very much like the aftertaste with its coffe-like and roasted appearance which lasts and lasts. Nice! It feels a bit oily on the lips and when it first comes into the mouth, but feels gradually thinner which makes this stut enjoyable and interesting to drink. This is a seriously good, and strong, stout.

Draught. Black with a large, creamy, beige head. Aroma: sweet, roasted, some coffee, wine gums, fruity, milk chocolate and sweet licorice. Taste: bitter, some saltiness, fruit, wine gums, berries, some acidity, perhaps also some spices. Full, slightly fizzy mouthfeel.
