Cask & Bottled.
It was only a matter of time before the original BrewDog got his paws in on the action. This egotistical young lab has decided to make a beer which best reflects himself.
This is the beer equivalent of the big, cute chocolate monster.
Soft, smooth, dark, chocolately and very strong. This gentle giant will never bite but would much rather give you a big lick on the face.

NOTE: This beer and Old World Russian Imperial Stout ARE definitely the same beer. Direct, verbatim quote from James Watt follows.
""This is Rip Tide in a 660ml that we made exclusively for Total Wine and More (a US chain). By offering them something unique we were able to ensure they listed Punk and Hardcore

Surprisingly disappointing, and disappointingly unsurprising. Just a thin, sour, alcoholic stout. None of the complexity of an imperial, none of the sweetness, or hop notes of an American stout. Just a dark, sour, thin sort of Ale. Love the Brew Dog stories, though.

33cl bottle. Pours pitch black with minimal brown head. Aroma is burned toast, coffee and hay. Taste is a bit´sweet , nicely balancing the average bitterness and saltiness. Aftertaste is dark and bready with the chocolate notes pushing through. Well-made and balanced, but maybe a bit boring beer. Needs more ageing?

33cl bottle at home from Csak a jo sor, Budapest. Body is pitch black, head is medium, brown, creamy, mostly lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is dark fruits, mild coffee, Aroma is dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, dried fruits, raisins, light ash. Taste is light to medium sweet, heavy roasty bitter, hint of sourness. Finish is long lasting hoppy roasty bitter, tons of coffee, light sweetness, light of liqueurish alcohol warmth, more hops at the end. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent dessert beer, heavy still easily drinkable, strong flavor, great one.

Flaska från SB. Doft av kaffe och torkade fikon. Generös smak av kaffe, mörk choklad, mörk sirap och torkad frukt. Ganska rund och lättdrucken. Liten torr efterbeska.

33 cl systembolaget. Upptäckte att jag missat denna brewdog. Fantastisk god med smak av choklad. Väldigt len i smaken trots alkoholen!
