2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Backlog review, bottle tasted 05/30/2011. Pours hazy dark amber, respectable head with foamy lacing. Aroma is extremely herbal and piney, smells like a bag of freshly mowed grass shavings, overtones of caramel malt. Taste follows the nose: vegetal, medicinal herbal weed (not the good kind) flavor dominates, long bitter finish. Medium body, thickens a bit with warmth. Kind of a chore to get through, and no positive side effects to speak of.

Thx to Kermis @ Rampkrot Whale tasting – 33 cl. Bottle sampled. Batch 1 (only one?) – BBF 02/05/2012. Finally the Brewdog Viagra IIPA for the wedding. Murky amber orange, little white head. Heavily medicinal, vegetable notes in the nose, zucchini, lightly earthy, very odd,…. Taste is very bitter medicinal, earthly vegetables, earth, rotting zucchini, oddly more expired aspirin, roots, Chinese medicinal herbs, strangely bitter, plastic,… Med. Body. Extremely weird brew.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Interesting theme. Tasty well made beer. Remember it being full of aroma and flavour of bitter grapefruit. Never could taste any of that special stuff that was in there. Then again was a bit cloudy by this stage. Remember it being nice and tasty.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Murky orange-brown body, thin cream head. Round, caramely nose, herbal, with lots of sherry. Herbal, bitter body with oxidized hops, caramel, and rosemary-like notes. Mediocre.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus at first, mint, herbal, menthol oil. Quite fresh flavour, minty fresh. Light malts, light bitter hops. Fresh herbal finish, malts, bitter hops, lingering bitterness allows the hops to come out at last.
The herbal minty freshness drowns the hops, bit of a shame, but good gimmick value nonetheless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
29th July 2011
Hazy amber beer, small off white head. Crispy palate. Green nettles and strong herbs. Good carbonated sting. Fresh citrus hops and a brief note of creamy malt. Trace of chocolate. Finishes crisp, slightly hop bitter and with more herbs. Certainly a bit different! A good drink if I needed a stiff one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thnx to secret Sint! Cheers!! Pours a murky, light amber with a small off white head. Aroma has a malty background with citric and some piney hops present. Nice. Flavour is very hoppy, returning some pine resin and grapefruit presences, overall backed up by a delightful malty backbone. Very decent DIPA.
