7/10 i mörkhet. Fruktig och syrlig i lukten. Besk men inte så mycket mer i smaken med en besk eftersmak.

Bottle at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy orangey amber with a big, yellowish head. Strong grapefruity hop nose. Grapefruity and spicy, quite herbal, a touch of fruit towards the finish. Nice, despite the bitter stiffness.

Keg at The Brewdog Bar, Edinburgh. Hazed amber with slight head. Blimey, this was really quite strange, not perhaps quite as strange as the British fascination in Royalty, but strange. There was me expecting a hop fest and out comes a big caramel toffee flavour and seemingly a Dark Chocolate hint. There is a background oilyness, although the fullness of flavour saves it, it doesn’t seem quite right.

Bottle... Clear dirty-orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aromatic scheme is centered on resiny, musky hops with a minimal rumor of menthol. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The flavor offers good balance – juicy, flavorful hops; nice, mildly roasted malts. Not very bitter, which is totally fine with me. Bittersweet finish. Darn good blend. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange coloured brew for an wedding occasion. Kind of fruity, citrus taste and hints of some chocolate i think. Also theire famous bitter appearance, quite original choise for an royal wedding thing.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a clear and copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with citrus. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of hops. The palate is sweetness and bitterness. Overall a good beer. [Rating #2300]

Bottle at The Wedding. Fresh nettle hops on a very sweet malt base. Too sweet and sticky for me and the hops didn’t meld nicely for me. OK.

Bottle at The Wedding. Pours a mostly clear gold with a strong, white head. Big hop aroma, lots of pine, citrus and herbs. Fairly sweet character with with bitterness of Hardcore, then the herbs and spices kick in, which are pretty alright. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, mildly warming, some resinous hops and lingering spices. A nice beer as a different take on the Double IPA style.
