Bottle 330 ml, brought from friend from Za Popen’t Ljubljana, shared with JFK. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Very malty and spicy, caramel. Sweet. Strange brew, can’t say I’m delighted.

Drunk from 33cl bottle bottle bought at Malting Pot, Brussels. Dark spicy slightly sweet christmas ale. Not as strong as tastes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - pours a dark, deep brown with loose frothy head. Nice aroma of sweet malts and soft fruits - esp. raisins, some chocolate. Taste of the sweet malts with mild spice notes. Enjoyed this.

Jado (573) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 14, 2014
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep mahogany with reddish highlights and a fluffy off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aromas of raisins, dates, chocolate and caramel. Taste is soft fruit up front before a lightly bitter chocolate note emerges. Surprisingly light bodied with moderate carbonation. Lingering coffee/chocolate finish with a fruity aftertaste. Enjoyed it.

Roasty, malty, chocolatey nose. Pours deep, rich amber in colour with deep ruby windows & big pillowy off-white head with excellent retention. Roasty up front with surprisingly light body. Malty with some nice toffee notes & a bit of tarriness/bittersweet choc finish.

33cl bottle. Dark amber colour with a thin tan head. Caramel, spices, malt and light coffee in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is malty with a bitter note. Overall, nice beer.

Bottle from mane liquor. Nice deep brown/copper pour. Nose has moderate spices and brown sugar malts. Pretty easy going stuff. Not a massive fan of scotch ales but this did the job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mane Liquor. I was surprised by this. Didn’t expect much but it delivered nicely without being anything crazy like I come to expect from Brewdog. Had a lot more finesse than most of their stuff and the moderate spices in front of the standard notes of a Scotch Ale went down well. I liked it

Molto simile a una scotch ale, maltate e decisamente caramellata, note di toffee e leggermente amara. Buona!
