Bottle at Chris O’s. Cheers Craig! Dark brown with a beige head. Oily texture. Very nice peaty aromas. Nice nose of smoke, wood, caramel, toffee and some fruit. Single malt infusion in the taste. Chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit flavours. Smooth and malty.

Good roasted malts, descent thinning head, whisky by the bucket load. Caramel body and a descent finish. Not too overpowering and descent at it’s style but prefer TNP. Enjoyed at Chris O’s.

Love the bottle, like to hear it, here it goes.. Dark brown black .. pretty damn good foam levels .. delicious stuff! light fruit, berries, light sherry, and just a touch of smoky tart scotch.. Quite an experience and over the moon to have tried it.. ..You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here!

Bottle at the brewdog tasting autumn ’09 in the rake. Alround rating: Massive whisky character, very islay smokey and iodine, the roastyness is big aswell, theres some nice sherry notes come through from the oxidation as this is over 2yrs old. Acht its too much for me, but im sure some people would be mad on it. Not that they’ll ever see it!

Bottle opened by James from Brewdog at the tasting at the Rake, 21st Nov 09. Tons of blackcurrant on the nose along with lots of iodine and peatiness. Sharper and lighter than the Paradox Isle of Arran we’d just tasted.
