4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
For some reason BeerBuddy didn’t update this.
Smell of hops, sugar and syrup. Copper red colour, tiny golden head. Clear. IPA traits to be found. Aroma of hops. Heavy sweetness and bitterness. Oily, almost viscous. Sugary aftertaste.

difficult one to rate. 41% abv you expect booze and that’s what you’ll get. Lot of alcohol in the aroma, some hops. Taste is really sweet, like sugary hops, something like a syrupy hop extract, really interesting.. Bitter finish but the alcohol really dominates in the end but somehow it seemed to balance out the sweetness. Really enjoyed the 2 cl i got at brewdog camden - I would recomment at least 5 to share a bottle ;)

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden brown color. Massive alcohol, faint hops, citrus, piney notes in aroma. Tar, sweet, mild citric hops and colossal alcohol in taste. Dry, bitter, raisins in aftertaste. This beer is off balance, but with good potential to be something in the future.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
09/12 A 0.33 l from Slovenian outlet, bottle shared with Marko and ogivlado. It poured clear copper body, almost still and as such without head. Orange hop aroma, some honey, with alcohol of course. Very hoppy flavor as well, hiding such amount of alcohol in the best possible way, although it was still present for sure. Otherwise it had some malt - caramel, fruits and honey. A lot of hops did make its body medium to thinner. Finish was long, bitter citrusy with some warming, but not really much ugly alcoholic. A new approach to the extremely strong beers and for sure a great one, I could drink this more than once. Also, I well remember we all agreed alcohol was better hidden than in TN Penguin. Accidentally, that was last new beer for me in 2011, ending the year in big style.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sour, sweaty aroma of ipa and sock reduction. Sickly thick sweety hop and alcohol burn monster. Very, very tasty, even if not terribly good smell, but a really pleasing experience.

[bottle at Danish invasion tasting--thanks cgarvieuk!]
Potent hops aroma with a little rubbing alcohol and faint grain; sweet fresh fruits, including orange. Dark amber and almost clear. Hops extract-like flavour with distilled lemon zest bitterness. Full body, quite warming and with a medium bitter finish.
