Dark copper/amber colour with no head whatsoever. Aroma is dried fruit, plums with lots of alcohol. Absolutely wonderful aroma. Flavour isn’t as wonderful, salty licorice, alcohol.

Copper orange beer with no head, some bubbles. Leaves angels tears on the glass. Deep caramel, syrup and ripe orange fruits on the nose. Mouth feel is thick and soft and full. Very nice syrup and caramel taste combined with a deep bitter finnish. Ripe sweet orange fruits again in the flavors. As a whisky drinker and an IPA lover I am just so excited about this drink! This is a truly pleasant surprise for me. I love it! It’s just so unique and exciting.

Bottle to shot glass...
Clear, woody brown....no head...this is no environment for fragile foam to exist in....
Aroma is fermented apple, caramel, hot pepper.....not subtle.
Flavour is woody, dark agonized fruit, raisin, rum.
Very pronounced alcohol sting.....burn.
Sweet, syrupy, orange malt....sticky....thick.
Impressive heat and flavor....not just an ABV bomb......though it’s hard to ignore...
Interesting and brutal...points for sheer audacity.....
Whew.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Tjoxen (152) - SWEDEN - JUN 6, 2013
Pours dark oak. Texture is very thick. Aroma is sticky of alcohol with prunes, raisins and a bit vanilla(?). Taste is sweet and smooth with dried fruit. The alcohol is well hidden in the flavours. Gives a warm feeling of happiness. This was a huge surprise. I bought it online from Brewdog when i saw they had made a new batch and i dont regret spending £40 on this bottle.

Bottle from BrewDog Shoreditch. Pours clear amber with no head. Loads of toffee and booze on the nose. To be expected really. Taste is actually quite balanced for what it is. Loads of toffee and raisin in the taste. Very sticky sweet. Not much alcohol burn which is impressive. Pretty surprisingly solid

Deep amber colored pour. No head. No lacing. Big toffee aroma with hints of malt nuts and alcohol. Sweet mouth with whisky notes. Raisins and malt. I cannot tell it is strong as it says it is. Pretty smooth and tasty.

Share with Bish and Danny. Andy had some too, bet he didn’t see himself doing that when he left the house. Think numbers speak for themselves really Thomas, as someone who got a B in A Level maths I thought you’d know that.

Shared with the delicious Domnik and delectable Danyul. Relatively acceptable and more of an experiment than a gimmick. I liked it, warming and went down fairly smooth. Hard to rate with numbers.

Bottle at Brewdog Brum. The smell burnt my nostril hairs. To me (any road), this did taste like a beer. Albeit a very strong one indeed. Seemed to evaporate in my throat, but flavour was loooong. Not bad.
