3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, - JUN 17, 2012[bottle at Danish invasion tasting--thanks cgarvieuk!]
Potent hops aroma with a little rubbing alcohol and faint grain; sweet fresh fruits, including orange. Dark amber and almost clear. Hops extract-like flavour with distilled lemon zest bitterness. Full body, quite warming and with a medium bitter finish.

Share with Bish and Danny. Andy had some too, bet he didn’t see himself doing that when he left the house. Think numbers speak for themselves really Thomas, as someone who got a B in A Level maths I thought you’d know that.

Shared with the delicious Domnik and delectable Danyul. Relatively acceptable and more of an experiment than a gimmick. I liked it, warming and went down fairly smooth. Hard to rate with numbers.

Bottle at Brewdog Brum. The smell burnt my nostril hairs. To me (any road), this did taste like a beer. Albeit a very strong one indeed. Seemed to evaporate in my throat, but flavour was loooong. Not bad.
2.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Hanoi (74) - - MAY 17, 2013
Bottle, from Brew Dog’s grim Manchester pub. From notes. Nose cream, fudge, toffee, caramel, spices, slight brandy. Taste, caramel, hops brown sugar. Alcohol burn high.
Overall, the nose is spectacular, the taste less so. Interesting to try

No head, the body is heavy and oily. The smell is of hops, alcohol and rum. So much that burns the nose. Taste of rum, heavy hops and oil. Drink it as a spirit rather than as a beer. Excellent.

3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 bosta (33) - SLOVENIA - APR 19, 2013
Pours a deep amber, with no head. The aroma is very intense, very sweet, lots of dried and candied fruits, raisins, apricot, a bit hoppy. Very similar to port wine. The taste is the same, lots of candied fruits and alcohol and a bit of hops. It gives a burning sensation that lasts. Great aroma and taste but dissapointing aftertaste.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 kalervo (446) - FINLAND - MAR 22, 2013
Interesting curiosity, tastes like beer, not like any kind of spirit I have tasted. Malty, rich. Surprisingly not very alcoholic taste.
