3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big thanks to askdrtodd for the share. Pours clear deep copper with thin white to off white head. The aroma is thick sludgy malts backed up by mild yet intense citrus hops and followed by the expected burn to the nose near the end of the draw. The taste is rough with a brief moment of malts rushing headlong into syrupy yet tart hop bitterness and astringency and then getting more and more boozy and rough. It continues to warm deep into the long after taste. Interesting. I doubt I can take much more than an ounce of this without something to re-set my palate.

Brewdog sink the bismarck. 41 %. IPA. det første jeg kunne dufte da jeg åbne flasken var den her maltsødme som mange af de her stærke øl på over 13 % tit har. smagen er super god sød stærk og bitter

En udvanlig stærk sag, som kun bør nydes i små mængder. Sjovt indslag, men er smagt bedre.

Could have been stronger. Shouldn’t have been able jump out of a moving helicopter afterwards, but here we are.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375ml bottle. Ruby-brown colour, no head, visibly oily consistency and aroma of alcohol, orangey hop, malt, caramel. Taste is sweetish malt concentrate, molasses, caramel, toffee with a mellow orangey hop edge and grassy, warming boozy notes plus some bitterness. Thick oily mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, alcoholy grassy bitter warming finish. Surprisingly drinkable.

41%! Quadruple IPA, 65 SEK for 1 cl at Brewdog Stockholm. Amber gold pour, no head. Made with hardcore IPA & frozen at minus 18C four times. Boozy floral aroma vs. Tactical’s boozy oaky malts. Wow, a punch of hops & a nostril burning waft of booze! Sweet malts, caramel but the power of the hops & booze really clears the sinuses. Tactical becomes something close to other liquors but this is off on it’s own unique journey. Try it if you can.
