2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
2012 production, thanks to a friend in England for mailing a bottle, saving about $110 over the best store price in Australia. Pours clear amber-red with no head, leaving some thin legs, any number of aged spirits would be doing quite well to look like this without artificial colourant. Malty and slightly hoppy aroma with a lot of alcohol. Flavours of clean malt as if it’s a scotch malt whisky but the alcohol very quickly overpowers the early sweetness, with a reasonably amount of bitterness too, with a yeast extract note mixing in later on. Unfortunately the hop bitterness is not clean or sharp and only reminds me of a tainted scotch whisky. Medium bodied, no carbonation, fairly dry and very hot with a fading bitter finish. Within in this small universe of fractionally frozen beers, it’s not nearly as balanced or enjoyable as the much cheaper Tactical Nuclear Penguin.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Received a small sample at Mitra Vismarkt, Groningen. Appearance: clear golden, slightly orangey, with no head nor carbonation visible. The liquid is dense and looks quite viscous. Aroma: very strong hop notes. Some grapefruit and mango but mainly hop resin. Even some whiskey character due to the alcohol content. Taste: medium sweetness and high bitterness. Feels quite salty. Some malts, but maily hop resins with some indistinguishable fruits very far away. Finish is very longlasting. Palate: full bodied, dense oily texture and no carbonation. If you read this Bas: Thanks a lot!

3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours like a nice single malt. Dark amber and clear. Obviously no carbonation nor head. Aroma is wonderful. Incredibly hoppy, lots of booze, petrol, so much resin, really burns after long inhalation. I love the aroma.
Flavour is rather mild at first, thick, really spicy, nicely warming, obviously alcoholic but surprisingly not too much, super rich, hoppy and warming finish. Great beer! Was surprisingly like an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice light bright amber color. Aromas of HOPS, and some other hints. Flavor is a jet fuel, bittersweet, malty, and hoppy as hell. God I love this beer.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
No head, no lacing, copper colour, aroma of whiskey with a little addition of hops, strong alcohol taste, flat. Not everyday you can try a 41% of alcohol beer, but it’s worth it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Batch 91 o 911? Best before 14/01/21, aperta il 24 aprile 2016.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This flat "beer" pours a clear, golden and incredibly viscous body with no head. The aroma is intense and very hoppy, with heavy notes of tropical fruits and caramel. The flavour is burning alcoholic, ridiculously hoppy and immensely malty: this is pure IPA concentrate! Also some hints of herbs. The taste is harsh bitter and heavy sweet, and the boozy aftertaste lasts until the next morning. The body is fuller than full and the texture is thicker than crude oil. This is a crazy, fun and absurd brew, but not exactly pleasant. Compared to e.g. Tactical Nuclear Penguin this is just a novelty.

Bottle. Aroma of honey, caramel and full of alcohol. Taste is bitter, light sweet. Very boozy flavor, harsh and hot. Also some herbsherbs, caramel and hops. Hard to drinking.
