Bottle from the cellar shared at the meatball tasting. Not much carbonation here.... Nose is sweet raspberries and mild tarty cherries with a mild peatiness to it. Rather sweet and dessert like. Taste is damp wood and bright red berries with heavy tart, mild grass and light peat. Cherry tartiness and raspberry sweetness are the focus for sure. A slightly thin mouth feel but it works well. Solid

Thanks koelschtrinker. Pours super dark black without much of any head. The smell is rotten raspberry, rich fruit, alcohol, soy sauce. The taste is rich raspberry, alcohol, caramel ending with raspberry seed dryness. Medium/full bodied.

Erstaunlich flacher Antrunk, die Himbeeren sind nur erkennbar da andere Aromen fehlen. Alkoholisch, uninteressant. 9/8/9/8/13/9

Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Molasses and booze with lots of barrel notes. Jet black with a thin beige head. Lots of Whisky and molasses. Sweet and still hot. In its day a great beer, but now a little hot and unbalanced.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A gusher, producing a dense, two-finger high beige head over an unclear, brown body. The aroma has booze, raspberries, some roasted malts and a little chocolate. It’s warming on the palate, full-bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level, and the whisky pretty easy to taste. Roasted malts and some berries too. Warming, bitter, chocolate finish. Although too boozy, I wouldn’t mind having it again, sure a nice one. 140307
