3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 maneliquor (1560) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 18, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Shared for Jared and Joel’s housewarming. This is pretty much a stock standard ipa. Not bad in anyway, just a solid all rounder. Cool label but it’s hard to justify the price tag on this one
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 daje (1291) - NORWAY - MAR 14, 2012
Bottle shared by a friend.
Dark amber color, small white head.
Fruity aroma, piney, barley driven taste with fruits and a very bitter finish. Absolutely a good beer, though not as special as maybe expected.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jvhemert (247) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 19, 2012
AROMA: floral, heather, spruce, grass, alcohol
APPEARANCE: amber, hazy, minimal head
TASTE: medium bitterness, lightly sour
PALATE: medium body, slick feel, lively, bitter, long
OVERALL: typical hoppy brewdog aromas; too much alcohol for the low ABV.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 maledictum (555) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - JAN 30, 2012
Dark amber beer, much browner than punk in comparison. On the nose a resinous mango explosion similar to hardcore IPA without the sickly quality. Less bitter than either Punk or Hardcore IPA, Pithy bitter finish that drys the mouth.

Bottle from Brewdog.com. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine needles and pineapple. A slight hint of rum and a dry salty finish (lolz). Very similar to chaos theory with a lot of welcome extras.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (3246) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle, thanks to Bunce. It pours clear amber, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is sweet caramel, wood, toast and alcohol warmth. The taste is sweet caramel, wood, alcohol warmth, toasted malt, biscuit and resin, with a warm, dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Fun idea, but doesn’t live up to other Brewdog IPAs.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AshtonMcCobb (1453) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 7, 2011
33cl bottle. Pours a hazy orange/brown with a nice sized head. The nose has a savoury (salty maybe) thing in fact it’s going towards oyster sauce. The taste is creamy with pine and grapefruit pith as well as a little bit more of that oyster sauce thing. The palate has a medium body and a creamy middle texture with a clean finish. Overall, this is pretty similar to just trying Punk which is a good beer.
