Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle. Dark amber with a strong orange fruity flavour, strawberry and tropical fruit notes and a woody and grapefruit finish. Excellent!

Thx. a LOT half-drunk Antoine for this one. 33 cl. Fles @ Delirium Hoppy Loft.

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy medium orange, with a beige head. Hoppy, very fruity aroma, apricot, passion fruit, spruce, caramel, resin, earth, malt, blood orange. Dry, medium body, high bitterness, creamy CO2. Hoppy, fruity taste, spruce, flowers, grapefruit peel, apricot, resin, earth, caramel, malt, yeast, toffee. Very well balanced, yet full of character. Very good. (2012-05-23)

Tasted from the bottle, on 18/05/2013. Pours hazy light copper, with a small head that falls off quickly. Aroma is super dank, lovely! Taste is a bit one dimensional, quite resiny&dank, a touch of honey, just slightly grapefruity and piny. Nice bitterness smoothly builds up in the end. A 100% west coast style ipa, pure hop liquid, yummy! Recommended+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks Craig for sharing this bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of passion fruit, mango, caramel and barley. Big passion fruit hit upfront. Very juicy with caramel and pineapple also. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Dry, salty finish. Quite good really...

Bottle from Brewdog.com. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine needles and pineapple. A slight hint of rum and a dry salty finish (lolz). Very similar to chaos theory with a lot of welcome extras.

Bottle from Brewdog.com. Cracking label and a fun concept and it seems that’s what you’re paying over the odds for. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a medium sized off white head. Promising nose of lime, tropical fruit, caramel, hops and a little mineral. A similar yarn flavour wise with a decent balance struck. Maybe vaguely salty. Lingering bitter finish. A tasty beer that nestles somewhere between standard punk and hardcore.

Dark amber beer, much browner than punk in comparison. On the nose a resinous mango explosion similar to hardcore IPA without the sickly quality. Less bitter than either Punk or Hardcore IPA, Pithy bitter finish that drys the mouth.

33cl bottle from Brewdog shop. Poured hazy orange with a foamy, thin white head, lacing. Aroma is very hoppy, tropical fruity and floral, with malt quite noticeable as well. Flavor is pine, bitter hops and caramel. Finish has salty licorice and is dry and bitter. Nicely hopped, bit different IPA. Medium bodied. Felt quite fresh still.

[330ml bottle courtesy of BeerCast Paul] Pours deep bronzey amber with very little head, other than a lacing. Big hop aroma, as expected. Slightly catty, oily pine presence on the nose. Nicely hoppy on the flavour – but I got more of a sweet peachiness at the end, along with (to me) that trademark BrewDog bitter cattiness. It may have needed the time to age a bit, or it might have made no difference – either way, presently surprised – mind you, it should be nice at that price [10082012]
