Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottled;
A historically accurate beer based on the recipe devised on the 8th of February 2007. Recreated using the finest coloured malts which provide the complex sweet malt character which initially arouses the senses. Like a fine cheese cake the biscuit base has a smooth and creamy layer that both satisfies and entices. Culminating with a delicate fruit topping of blackcurrant and tinges of citrus to refresh the participant, complimented fully by the crisp dry bitter finish.

22.4 oz capped bottle. Clear amber with a decent beige head. Nice caramel and herbal hop nose, lightly nutty. Medium body. Caramel flavors, light nuts, earthy and herbal. A solid amber, one of the better ones I have had, but damn, I still feel screwed at $14...

Bottle pours a clear dark amber with a thick nicely lacing tan head. Aroma is sweet floral hops. Flavor starts sweet with hints of peach. Malty with a bitter hops finish with a hint of pine. Medium body and dry, a decent amber.

Beautiful hazy amber color. Mild aroma of good hops. Good flavor, caramel and quality hops, well bitter, long final. It uses British style hops, a bit earthy and very lightly fruity. Good.

This is my second Brewdog and already I fucking love ’em. Great attitude to making beer, good on them... Good reddy body, fruity, very berry, and a good lengthy finish. Great work. I’ve got a bottle of Cult cooling in the fridge as I ramble, ready for cracking open tonight. If only I could get my hands on a bottle of Tokyo!! Bring on PAYDAY!!

Deep amber color with a modest white head. Nice lacing. Nose of malt and berries. Rich malty taste with traces of berries and caramel. Mouthfeel is at the same time slightly creamy and dry. Sweet up-front taste segues into a simple dry and bitter hop finish.

Bottle. Pours a light brown with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt and flowery hops. Flavor is odd: lots of caramel, also roasted malt, wood, fruit (melon?). Quite sweet, but just an odd combination of flavors. Very different from other ambers that I’ve had. Just ok for me.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Light caramel and hops in the nose. Medium body with caramel notes and roasted malt. Dry and fairly hoppy finish. 250308

Bottle (in NZ), poured a very clear amber with a thick pillowy off white head. Caramal malt on the nose, with some sweet bubblegum notes. Full of hop bitterness on the palate, some toffee malt gets through before the very burnished and drying finish, which has some hints of stone fruits. An interesting ale that doesn’t try to hide anything, got better as it warmed. Hopheads would like this.
