Bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Nice pinky amber colour. Fairly dull in the wheaty malty nose. Nice citric hop flavour with nuts and a pleasing funk to it. Bittering malt and hop finish gives it a balanced end.

White head. Copper amber and slightly rich with a crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.

Bottle. Nice, slightly stenchy aroma, slightly farmyardy. Malty, dry and nutty, with some light hops in the finish. Some slightly sappy, orangey notes in the finish. Earthy. Good!

Nice deep golden amber colour.
Very heavy malty nose with a touch of ripe fruit.
Nice dry bitter finish.

Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Malty premium beer. Earthy hop aroma. Really good ESB, plenty of dark/’red fruits. Good malts, nice biting hop on end. Excellent.

Bottled (thanks magic_dave6!). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, slight alcohol and very much hops. Flavour is grassy hops along with some caramelly hints. The flavour was a bit disappointing compared to the aroma.

Bottle @ 16th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2007, Opstal. [Thanks to Sebastian for sharing] Clear medium yellow orange color with a moderate fizzy fair lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty and moderate malty, grape, toffee, sugar. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Clear, orange body with a high viscosity. Very attempting. Aroma of sweet malts, strong american hops, vanilla: very complex and well balanced. Hoppy flavour but in a one dimensional way, with some sweety caramelish hints. The aroma was very nice, but it was therefore a big disappointment in the flavour which is not as complex.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2007 Aroma and taste are caramel, toffee, though balancd, grassy finish, kind of like finding your not as drunkas you thingk you are. RERATE: Got this on cask in my work Blackfriers. Aroma has everything i want, toffee malt base balanced almost over powered with peppery, fruity hops. Taste is such a pleasure, amazing i should rate this higher, i f’in love beers like this, earthy peppery even citrus until the malt balances it quickly. I coul drink a stupid amount of this stuff wake the next day and feel terrible but not about what i got wrecked on.
