COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottled;
A historically accurate beer based on the recipe devised on the 8th of February 2007. Recreated using the finest coloured malts which provide the complex sweet malt character which initially arouses the senses. Like a fine cheese cake the biscuit base has a smooth and creamy layer that both satisfies and entices. Culminating with a delicate fruit topping of blackcurrant and tinges of citrus to refresh the participant, complimented fully by the crisp dry bitter finish.

Bomber. Poured a clear amber with a small lingering light amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light fruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Tastes like it smells.

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber with very little head and some lacing
Aroma: Sweet hops and grapefruit
Taste: Silky mouthfeel, sweet malts. I get some smokey flavor in the finish
Not bad, it is watery with very little going on.

Bottle. Pours a light orange, grapefruit juice color with a whispy, clear head. Head recedes with a miniscule ring and light lacing. Nose is heavy doughy malts up front with a light fruit note of apricot and sweetness. Palate is flat and medium with asticky, lightly bitter finish. Flavors if doughy, biscuity malts; light fruit notes with some grapes and tangerines showing through. Only gets better as it warms and more of the flavor and scent becomes prevalent. Quite complex and interesting despite it’s plain appearance.

Bomber (2009) into a goblet. Surprisingly hoppy with a caramel backing, but it tastes a bit like cleaner sadly.

Deep amber colour, no head & very low level of carbonation. Rich malt aroma with hints of chocolate and dried fruits, nice aroma, malt dominate as it should be in this style of beer. Palate is medium to full with a creaminess and good balance. Quite rich malt flavours with a slight fruity hop character. Overall a nice beer, relatively easy drinking but more than one or two would be to much I think.

Rats. A disappointment. Poured with soap bubble head and no lace. Color is a clear light to medium amber. Aroma is a malty and flowery hop. Pleasant. Flavor is a nicely mildly hopped amber beer as I’d expect. It was flat though. Going to try cooking with it. Hard to get around the flatness and be neutral with the other qualities as they’re so connected. Still, an accurate review as best I can. Chau babe.

In the bottle from HyVee Council Bluffs. On sale for an incredible $4.99. Pours amber with a slight haze and very little white head. The aroma is quite like tea, orange pekoe in fact. A nice mild citrus orange hop with a sweet then bitter finish blast. the bitterness remains long on the tongue. This was from Batch 002.

Lubiere (9999) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2009
Amber ale with a thin white head, lifeless, weird deposit in the neck of the bottle. A very malty aroma, with British hops, a bit vinous, not bad. In mouth, a sweet cloying malt with light British hops, a bit of nutty notes, lifeless mouthfeel. Boring. BB 10-08-09. Bieropholie import.

Okay. Nothing I thought was too great. Has a biscuity, pellet hop type of presence throughout. Very sharp bitterness on the finish.
