Feb 3, 2009 Pours a dirty yellow with a small off white head. Aroma is malty with a little spicy hop. Flavor is bitter hops that mellow into a decent bit of malt with the bitterness lingering on the tongue.

Feb 3, 2009 Murky dark orange pour. At first I get some grapefruit hops but as it warms the malt takes over and gives you a caramel sweetness. There is a toffee like finish with a thick sweet full mouth feel. Aroma is faint fruit with some prune and plum.

Jan 29, 2009 My bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of Presario. Pours a clear golden-amber with an average size diminishing off-white head. Nice aroma of fruit, light hops and caramel malt. Flavour’s hoppier then expected, backed by caramel malt and has a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Ambers tend to be dull and crappy, kudos to BrewDog for brewing an interesting and tasty one -- me likey!

Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel avec une pointe d’agrumes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. App.: Clear amber with a loose, rocky light tan froth.
Aroma: Strong earthy caramel, slightly funky, some burnt sugar, other assorted malt aromas.
Palate: Medium body, fairly sparse and soft carbonation.
Flav.: Caramel that is much less earthy, more fruity, still very malty with a touch of peppery, resinous hops; off-dry with some bitterness.
Straight forward, drinkable.

Jan 20, 2009 660 ml, bb 08/08/09. Hazy orange-copper with a small ring of bubbles. Aroma is toast, earthy tea leaf and caramel with some muted orange and oak. Flavor is orange-caramel and biscuit, toned down with some salty oak and earthy leaf. Near-medium body is hardly carbonated, watery-thin, and well-dried by the salt and wood flavors.
