COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hark! A limited editon seasonal stout brewed with cocoa nibs and ginger stems.

In the true spirit of Christmas ’cheers’ we at BrewDog have taken it upon ourselves to create a Santas’s little helper for all those battling through the festive season.

Our crack team of elves, penguins and red nose raindeer have been crafting, brewing and perfecting this warming winter stout as a reward for all those driven to the brink and back in the name of Noel.

Now all you have to do is don that customary yule tide sweater and find a roaring open fire to enjoy it by.

In fact this beer is so good, we specifically advise against sharing it with any chimney intruding, night time visitors.

Oh and just remember, this BrewDog’s not for life, it’s just for Christmas.

Bottle. Pours a clear, ruby/brown with a big beige head. Sweet and spicy aroma; cloves, cinnamon, honey and camomile, with citrus hops in the background. Interesting, and well pulled off, but still pretty cloying. Flavour is pretty much the same, but with a tart note and some bitterness in the background. Dry finish with a lingering bitterness. A tad too much carbonation. Hmm... don’t know what to make of this; it’s well-made for what it sets out to do, but it’s really not my thing – too cloying. Also, the stout features drowns in the spices. 21.02.11.

They are right. After this there is no Santa. They just killed him! This is herbal spicy hell on bottle. In pours Black with a fluffy big off white head. The aroma is cinnamon, lots of ginger, chocolate, cardemom, caramel and sweet candy. The flavour is very spicy and herbal with notes of ginger, light chocolate, cardemom and caramel. Long spicy finish.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Spicy, ginger aroma and a hint of banana cake. Flavor of ginger, gingerbread, coffee, cocoa and grass. Astringent bitterness. Rather weak body. Nah.

Clear brown - red beer. Good tan head. Softish light palate. Mild dark malts - well spiced but not bitter or dry. Somewhat one more dimensional. Mild minerals in the dry finish and more sweet spice in the aftertaste. A heavy handed clunky Christmas beer - expected more of Brewdog than this.

INDASTRIA (129) - Berlin & Rome, GERMANY - NOV 27, 2011
Bottle @ Bir & Fud Bottega. A cinnamon and ginger bomb, nothing more. It remembers me some cake mix rather than an actual beer. The funny thing is that this beer is not even sticky, it is just bad like S***. anyway, don’t waste your money, avoid it

mile (2100) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 20, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, lots of spiciness (cinnamon and ginger). Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish, lots of spiciness. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, spiciness. Ridiculously - way too much spiced Xmas beer.

Mörk och skummig. Vattning, tunn och besk. En besvikelse från ett annars fantastiskt bryggeri.

Star anise, Xmas stollen, exagerated cinnamon, raisin and sugar powder. Brown-rubin red with soft tan head. Medium-sweet with hints of bitterness, full body, slick texture and very light fizzyness. Christmas in a glass and santa stays home!
